Twins are in town for a 3 game series. Our Tribe will try to use the one win we got in the last game of the lost series to KC and continue to build on the lead.

We have Carrasco, Plutko and Clevinger going in the set.

Go Tribe.

Carrasco looking sharp but man I hate those shots up the middle.

Carrasco goes 7 and two thirds of shutout.

Hand in with 2 out, none on.

So here's the relief corp wrap up:

Hand, needing only one out, gives up a single and a walk before he gets it.

Otero closes it out by getting the first guy, then giving up a homer and single, then a line out before getting that last out.

I think Otero is pitching himself off the post season roster.

Tribe has 31 games left. Kluber & Carrasco both with 16 wins and each should get 5-6 more starts, depending on whether Tito wants to rest them. Will the Tribe have two 20 game winners, one or none?

Cookie looked sharp, and can't wait to get Bauer back, but if I'm being honest, I'm concerned about Klubot. Win or lose, he's always been the model of consistency--this year has been the exception. He's still a stud, but just an inconsistent one.

That's been my take for much of this season but when I bring it up I get metrics thrown in my face. I've thought there was some kind of issue going on with him for a while now, whether it's possible injury he's fighting through or just a tired arm (eats up a lot of innings), just doesn't seem the same.

Had internet issues last night. Carrasco looked sharp. Bats are coming alive and starting to string some hits together to score runs. The party was at Dan Ford's.

Kluber has been inconsistent when he has had a nagging injury. He losses his arm slot when that happens. Cookie has been the real inconsistent one, for no real reason.

I went to Gaetti's. He told me "NO party here". Was pretty nice about it.

Edwin with a meaningful RBI, Tribe up 3-2 still batting in the 5th.

Allen can’t hold a lead in the 7th inning either—Tribe down 4-3...if it weren’t for Miller going on the DL yet again, Allen should be gone. He’s mentally shot.
