With JR and TT, I don't think it's as simple as "Well Lebron left let's trade everyone now." They both have multiple years left on terrible contracts. And they're both coming off down years so their value isn't exactly high. I'd put them on the trade block for sure but I don't think you're going to get any offers.

Crazy how far he's fallen.

Ended up buying him out, so he’s a FA now. 

I could absolutely see him landing with a contender. He’s a head case, obviously, but he still was getting 17 and 13 in only 30 min. I think if he has the motivation of a ring, he might keep it together.

the difference between who we get at 8 and 11 isn’t that big on this draft. It’s deep.

Also why would the Hornets do that deal since the delta between 8 & 11 is nominal as you mentioend. JR has more yrs on his contract and it's bigger. LMAO just fucking terrible all the way around.

This is actually false. JR does have 2 years left but year 2 is only 3.5 garenteed so he’s essentially an expiring contract. So JR had value as an expiring, same as hill

Because they can waive him and shed  Kembas and his contract. That’s their incentive. That and they do move up albeit little. 

They’d probably want us to take Batums contract too though

I was thinking the same as you but I read it wrong. He’s only owed 3.5 2 seasons from now. He’s still owed full salary next year. 

Yeah they won’t want to do that. I thought it would only cost them 3.5 mil.
