The challenge system in minors right now is flawless (it is early). I cannot wait until we get that.
The professional baseball umpire union is STRONG
I went to professional umpire school (worked and was taught by guys like Adam Beck, Brennan Miller, Nestor Ceja, & Edwin Moscoso)
A frequent topic of discussion was always how good and strong the MLB umpires union was and how protected guys were.
Heard a guy say something today that I thought was pretty good. He was talking about the games of baseball vs football - not the individuals who play them.
“Baseball is a view of what humanity should try to be. Football is what we actually are.”
