Hack?
Hack Wilson or Maris are the only others who I can think of with that type of power (aside from 1990s on who I know didn’t do it)

Yes to Double X. Foxx did it in '32.
posted by Laley23Ruth has to have done it.
Of course. He knocked 59 homers and hit .378 in '21.

Yep. Never won an MVP (they didn't have it during his best year), but put up a .356 average and 56 homers in '30.

If you can believe it, Maris isn't in the Hall. His average wasn't that good, and it was mostly just the one year. I'm not sure he even cleared 300 homers on his career.
Back to back MVPs and 61 for Maris, but that's about it.

Yep. His actual career numbers are pretty pedestrian. Pat Burrell pedestrian.

I’ve worded it the best I could.
Did they play for the Dodgers their entire career?

Reread it...I changed wording
Brooklyn?
I'm totally blanking on a Dodger slugger that would have that many bombs.

He’s the only one I could think of on this question.
I’m confused, also.
edit: just looked at the all time homer list and was shocked that I didn’t know that Thome was ahead of Sosa.
This player spent time on the Dodgers during his career....his entire time as a a Dodger he had 564 career HR
I understand the question now. Never hit a HR as a Dodger. Thome? I recall you mentioning he didn't hit one for LA, I think.
