Herman?

Bingo.

A lifetime .304 hitter with almost 500 career doubles, but with fewer than 50 HRs over his career, strung together 12 consecutive games with at least two hits.

Both HOF...but both also had very successful MLB pitching brothers and their careers were also very statistically similar.....so I did a little math and combined each set of brothers totals....fill in correct last name (Niekro or Perry)

Are we done with the manager question?

I would like to start off by saying that both brothers names started with a J.  Jim and Joe. 😁

Well, I started guessing, to myself, all the managers in the HOF that I knew were players from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. But I peeked at their stats and came up with nothing. It has to be a manager from way back in the day.

That question was a bomb....aimed at O-trap lol. The answer is Rabbit Maranville who actually did manage the Cubs in 1925
