Don't get that one? Why not trade him? I know he had disagreements with coaching staff (who went 0-16). Taylor will probly be cut too. McCourty was cheap.

Actually, it sounds like they did. Initially it was reported he was released but then I heard on Sirius on the drive home they traded him to New England and swapped draft positions in the 6th & 7th rounds.

Saw Michael Crabtree was released. Is he worth kicking the tires on?

Oh, and one thing I did like that I heard today in Hue's presser. Sounds like JT was at the facility today working with Shon Coleman and his hand/footwork. Hue said that Thomas will keep his key fob?, his spot on the plane if he wants to fly with them and his locker. I think Hue hopes he will change his mind.

Not sure if true or false but Hue also said they had been targeting Tyrod before the start of last season and before any of the AJ McCarron BS went down.

I did see that after it was released. Makes it a little better although he has a nice contract. As for your next post on Taylor, I don’t believe a damn think idiot Hue says.

I see a lot of people wanting Ward, but I actually thought the guy from Iowa was a better cornerback.

In the game vs OSU he was, but overall, Ward is better

Fitzpatrick/Ward should go 1-2 in order of CB's. Just depends on one's preference. Minkah seems more versatile while Ward has makeup speed.

Deion is a douche. A white guy ran a sub 4.4 and he flipped out because he was white. Imagine if that went the other way..

Still think he's the most overrated DB ever.  He was all or nothing.

Not sure if you ever did this, but back when we played schoolyard or backyard football as kids and a guy would be running away from you and your last ditch effort to tackle him was by trying to trip him with a baseball slide.....THAT is what I think of when I think of Deion's tackling "skills."

Jets traded up to 3. If it wasn’t already a lock, that should seal up a QB at 1 I would think.

It was a lock. But at least all of the Barkley at one dummies should be done now.

I don't think the Jets will take a quarterback I think the Jets are going to take Barkley and that leaves the Browns with a chance of Fitz  defensive back I think that's the way it's going to roll

If Giants stay at 2 and take Barkley, the Browns #4 is huuuugely valuable. People would be willing to pay a lot. Also, if it goes qb, qb, qb, Browns get the best position player they want.

if Browns stay at 4, I’m going with Darnold/ Chubb.

What's crazy is whatever happens at number 1 pic with the Browns will change the whole complexion of the draft for the next 7 to 10 picks I could actually see the Browns taken Barkley at 1 and then the next four pics would be all quarterbacks pcs crazy with the Browns with the choice of number 4 of either Josh Allen or Sam Donald's

After signing Hyde to be their workhorse, the Browns would be stupid to burn the #1 overall on a RB when they could miss out on a QB they want by the time they pick. If there's a QB you covet, even if it's a guy like Mayfield, who you like and could still be there at 4, you don't take that chance.

And on a side note, if the Browns REALLY want Barkley, after this trade (NYJ's) I think he will still be there at 4 but I bet they trade down with Buffalo getting a haul.

OK, BR1986FB, here is one Mike Polk, Jr. skit that I actually thought was good:

After hearing more & more about this Jets trade, I'm pretty confident that, if the Giants don't trade down (don't think they will unless Buffalo throws the kitchen sink at them), they are taking a QB at #2, meaning three QB's will likely be taken with the first three picks.

At #4, the Browns will likely have their choice of Barkley, Chubb or Fitzpatrick/Ward. At this point, I don't think I'd trade down with Buffalo (assuming Buffalo doesn't trade up) but if Denver wanted to move up to 4, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat knowing that at least 3 of the 4 guys I mentioned are still available. Just don't know if there would be a QB left at #4 that Denver would really want.
