I didn't go to OSU, so as much as I want them to win, being from NEO makes me want anything Browns over OSU. I'd go as far to say I'd take a Browns playoff win over a Buckeyes NC. I would think I am in the minority with that opinion. It has just been too long.

No, not at all. To me, the Buckeyes winning NC's is "old hat" where the Browns even getting to a wild card game is like some kind of crazy dream. When they were making the playoffs in the Kosar years the town was electric. Nothing like it to me.

Well, to begin with they likely won't make it but if they do, Bama will make them their bitch.

Well, again, just like they were predicted to do in 2014...just stop

If, and it's a HUGE "if", the Buckeyes get in, I'll be more than willing to do an avatar bet, assuming they'd face each other.

You act like the Buckeyes are winning NC’s every other year. They’ve won 2 since 1970.

Browns getting to a WC feels like a dream if Cody Kessler or kizer we’re QB’n this team. With Baker, that’s going to be pretty regular (after this year)

to say you’d rather your pro team go to a playoff game than your college team win a NC is just crazy

Phew....Schefter originally claimed that the Browns claimed Rueben Foster but then he deleted it to say someone had claimed him. Sounds like it wasn't the Browns.

It's the NFL, if you can provide productive snaps, you can find your way on a roster.

What are your guy’s expectations for next week @Houston?

BM and Watson are fairly similar to me. Texans have elite receiver.

Browns have good confidence going...and Mayfield seems pretty responsible for that

I think if the Browns can keep the running game in check, this will be a pretty tight game. Pretty sure they have the third most running plays in the league so they definitely use that to set up the pass for Watson. Not as worried about Watson beating them through the air. If he has to throw over 25 times, they (Texans) are likely in trouble.  I expect a battle between Denzel Ward & Hopkins. Hoping Garrett feasts as the Texans (I believe) OL has given up the second most sacks in the league.

Offensively, Baker is going to need a big game. The Texans run D is stingy. The most they've given up is 82 yards to Barkley. If Chubb can get to 75 (big if) I think the Browns win. They are vulnerable to the pass though, if BM has time. O-Line, especially Robinson & Hubbard better pack their big boy pants because this will be the best pass rush they face to date.

I just REALLY didn't want the Browns to get this guy and have to hear crap about it. The Browns may have been bad, and couldn't talk shit to the Steelers, but we still have that Roethlisberger/Rape card.

Good thought there. Wondering though if Texans give up extra sacks because Watson holdson too long but also takes off a good bit.

Hopkins might be the most freakish WR in the NFL...dude is awesome. He and Ward should be a fun battle for an outsider like me. I think BM will have to have a quick trigger and be a bit more careful with Watt and Clowney running around....but that’s not how Mayfield operates.

I do think Watson can pass 25 times and Houston be really good

Checking out Watson’s game stats I just realized how meh the Texans schedule has been during this win streak. They've not been dominant but have been constant winners.

I don’t  think the Browns are good enough yet to go into a team who’s won 8 straight nfl games and beat them. I think they’ll compete but Watson pulls them away late.

What's the Browns biggest weakness right now? The area that's going to cost them games?

I think Baker and the offense has looked great against three bottom 5 defenses. Houston has a good D and I don’t think they’ll be able to move the ball as well as they have. Not saying they’ll suck it up, but I think they’ll def struggle a bit in Houston in a hostile atmosphere.

That feels about right. No real trap game potential either

They seem to be over the “we’re teh Brownz” hump. Way more confident that they can finish games, but those have mostly been home games. They are 1-4 on the road. That’s gotta be one of their next steps.

Hopkins, for me, is the best receiver in the NFL and has been for about 5 years. If Ward can stop him without help, Browns will win. If not, it opens up so much more for Houston that it will be tough. Game should be played in the low 20s, I’d expect.
