I nominate COA. He's been right on Mahomes and he was just ahead of me on the Mayfield bandwagon before the draft. He's got a bit of a hot hand with some of his takes.

COA was also the originator of the "browns drama and bs" thread, that was created during the 0-16 season lol.

For fun...

Pick a # between 1-100 and whoever gets closest I’ll send $100 IF the Colts and Titans finish in a tie

Post your number below and only good for Browns fans. I’m messaging Justin the number

sorry I missed this, but just curious--are you a Browns fan?

That was an exciting game at the end of the year for us Browns fans.

We were in it to the end.

The Browns are back.

The bummer is: we have to wait a long time for next season.......while suffering through with the Cavs and, now, Indians.

pretty much sums up where I'm at too...can't wait for football season-lol ;)

There was a press conference with Dorsey this morning. Not much said other than he said that Jimmy and Dee are letting him take the lead on the coaching search. He wouldn't talk to anyone about who he was looking at, but reports say they have reached out to Patriots DC (Flores I think)

He also said Kitchens and Williams will have an interview. I am starting to be sold on Kitchens being HC.

Have already heard it's unlikely it's Gregg Williams. Also heard they've reached out to McCarthy (barf).

Nobody is going to know wtf the Browns do with this coaching search.  Prepare to see so many BS reports.  Most people couldn't even guess what was going to happen in the Draft and they had the #1 overall pick.

No doubt but I'll be pretty surprised if it's a name that comes out of nowhere, like when Pettine got hired.

Something tells me if they get rid of kitchens, it’ll be another “bilichek and saban used to be on the browns coaching staff” thing.

Everyone keeps saying they want a “young, innovative, offensive minded head coach” well, we have one on the team already. I would do everything humanly possible to keep him on as OC and if he won’t accept anything less than HC, I’d give it to him.

Nope, Steelers....I was just grasping one last smidge of hope in my mind and knew if the insane miracle tie happened, well I just thought a Browns fan would be most worthy of the cash prize.

I tend to agree with most of this. Kitchens has built a strong bond with BM, who is the most important player on this team. Kitchens came up with some pretty innovative stuff in only 8 games. Imagine a full season and offseason?

My fear is that they bring in someone like McCarthy and he and Baker butt heads. Plus, with McCarthy comes a 3-4 defense so there's likely another personnel overhaul.

Home Opponents next year - Bills, Miami, Rams, Seahawks, Titans

Away Opponents next year - Patriots, Jets, Cardinals, Broncos, 49ers

Looking WAY ahead to next year, that isn't a terrible schedule. Patriots/ Rams/ Seahawks being the hardest teams.

I don't think there is any chance McCarthy gets the job. I trust Dorsey enough that I have to think he realizes that wouldn't work.

Could see Gase, too. A lot of people said he works well with QB's. We'll see

Exactly. That's been a big problem during Haslam's tenure. Back and forth with coaches that have different systems and bad personnel fits. This was prior to Haslam, I think, but remember Jason Fisk trying to play NT in the 3-4? This defense is pretty bad but the players know it and I think they are only a few players away from being middle of the pack...and with this offense, middle of the pack is all you'll need to be a 10+ win team.

You never know with the NFL.  Browns were supposed to have a lighter strength of schedule this year and it ended up being one of the toughest schedules in the league.

If Gase gets it, you'll know Haslam has his fingers in the pie again. Jimmy had major wood for Gase when he took the Miami job.
