Always a good day when it’s a Kluber day.

He is becoming like LeBron to me...if I see 3 runs given up I get confused. Like when LeBron goes for 25/6/5...

A Tribe sweep would help the Pirates.

Sorry, but Allen just isn’t an elite closer...his numbers may be above average, but a 3+ era and already four homers allowed is NOT elite—and as anyone who watches/follows the Tribe can attest, his outings are tenuous at best. Our bullpen is trash. Period.

Probably in the 10-15 range for closers this year, about 7-9 last year

Not sure why keep 33 year old Melky over Zimmer and his defense saving a run a game.

Allen is really struggling. I know earlier it was his curve that he had no control over. Haven’t been able to watch much the last few weeks, so not sure if that’s still an issue.

He has never been a top-5 guy, but he was deadly in the playoffs because the pressure is ramped up and the curve is the ultimate pitch to adrenaline filled hitters. It’s why I don’t want to give up yet, but he needs to get the feel back on the curve.

Would also be nice to see Miller back healthy and prove it for a 2-week span. He makes everyone better by making it a 7-8 inning game versus 9.

Even if they feel Miller/Allen at back end is good...I’d still make a few trades to bolster the middle relief.

Honestly, whoever can throw up a few zeros. I’m not gonna give up a ton for them, unless it’s Hader, but still need some arms. The window isn’t closed after this year...but it is another year gone.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Carrasco looks any better this afternoon.
