I am not fond of wind chill, add 15-20 mph on that and no thank you

I walked in that crappy snow/wind for about 45 minutes last night. All bundled up I felt like Ralphie's little brother in "A Christmas Story."

I'm in the market for door jam pull up bar, but there are many options out there. I need something that is best in regards to NOT fucking up the doorway molding.

The catch is I'll be modifying it, doing a DIY hangboard setup for climbing strength drills. I see Iron Gym is popular, but I've had a similar one in the past and it fucked up the door and I had to repair it before I moved out. I don't really want to break the bank with this because I could potentially screw it up when modifying.

This simple style is what I'd need.

I need to lose some damn weight. Stepped on the scale the other day and it was 209. I'm trying to get down to 195 by mid-April for my Vegas trip.

Increase cardio, decrease shit food consumption.

That's all I've done since the end of the holidays and I've dropped 8lbs.

I've drastically reduced alcohol and sugar consumption, and we've reduced our meals out since the new year started. Hopefully that'll do it.

Nah, my spare tire was getting out of control.

I just did a 20 minute yoga routine. I have the flexibility of a stone.

Yoga is very humbling.

Workouts have been going ridiculously fantastic, except for the lack of a treadmill. Started eating full on keto right around Christmas. Funny how when I used to see certain stuff (M&M's at work, coworker keeps a container on her desk, along with Gummy Bears) I'd want it. Now I have no urge to eat anything with sugar and that adaptation happened REALLY fast.

Got three good runs in Sat-Monday.     Love running in the snow.  The temperature, well it depends on how cold.  A day with no wind, like today, and ill got to as low as ten below  If its windy then it can change but it was some very good running the last few days.

It is slow going, but so peaceful running in the snow.

I found a climbing gym and am now mixing it in twice a week with my normal weight training. It's a fun change of pace.

Whats the new protein powder hotness these days? Anyone on the plant based trend?

I've been cycling on and off between ON Gold and Trutein for years. I'm looking to try something else. I mostly mix with water, so it's tough to find a brand that doesn't taste like ass.

Google research shows this one is favorable.

SFH Pure Whey

I've never heard of it, but macros are what I'm looking for.

No.  I prefer steak and eggs.

It's been awhile since I consumed whey or casein protein powder.  I normally hit my protein macros pretty easily with real food.

I'm finally over the point of "getting back into it" soreness. Strentgh is back so it's meathead time.

Same. I just can't consume whey at any level and be comfortable. Gives me horrendous gas/stomach pains.
