Nice 2nd guess and good 3rd guess

I had 3 options left after my 4th guess and knew I’d guess wrong twice and lose, so I hit the bullet and used 5th guess to guarantee I wouldn’t lose.

It's my go to if I don't hit on any of the first word letters I used. I got lucky with getting 4 letters. My wife was similar to me except she missed all 6 guessing the first letter. 

i got got today. 4 wrong guesses with the last 4 letters correct.

I did.

After guess 3 there were 6 remaining letters that could've started the word. Guess 4 had 2 of the remaining 6. Luckily I hit on the first letter.

Sacrificing going for the right word, to eliminate 2-3 letters that it could start with.

I would never bite the bullet either. At this point, I'm going for lowest score possible, not just getting it right.

I’ve decided that if there are 3 possibilities I’m going to miss the first two, almost like the game is programmed that way. If I’m close after 1 or 2 I’ll go all in going for a 2 or 3…..but if after that I’m biting to avoid failing.
