Anyone got a side hustle to make extra money on top of your regular job?

I had one a while back making and selling BBQ sauce. I eventually gave it up because it was taking up all of my free time. I was going home in the evening making 30-40 bottles of sauce, and they would be sold out the next day by lunch. It was fun, but I didn't have the time to take it anywhere further. Now I just dabble in it and create new flavors (working on my 5th and 6th different variety).

Anything mustard based? I'd buy a bottle of that.

I umpire a Sunday softball league and mow 4 yards…not a hustle, just some fun run cash

- Umpire college baseball. Season is super short/quick in Ohio but make really good money doing it.

- Umpire local PBR tournaments in the summer. Quality of ball is sometimes suspect but games are typically on a 2hr or less time limit and have very kind run rules

- Coach high school football/basketball...not really a side hustle but provides us some extra $$$

I don't have one currently, but years ago in NYC I would do contract brand ambassador gigs.

It was fun and decent money at the time.

I do have a Carolina Mustard. It was the second one I ever created. Next time I make a batch, I'll send you a bottle (no charge).

I suppose the last 2 years I can say selling baseball cards. I’ve made a few thousand $ selling others cards. Don’t have much time into it and mostly like doing it.

I may have a few to get ahold of you for selling. A couple good old (like 60s and 70s) ones that have been in hard plastic cases since the 70s but never been graded.

Value on the big sites are down with those cards but I can sell them on marketplace I’d guess. If very good condition and not graded I can still sell on the big sites.

All the new boxes and inserts are all the rave now. It’s crazy. Ridiculous money being spent on a card they made 5 of but if that player doesn’t go on to the HOF or be Bo Jackson/Deion it’ll never hold value.

Local card dealer invested crazy money in Elly De La Cruz….those cards have dropped insanely already. Hope it works out for him but betting on rookie phenoms going to the HOF, not for me.

I think my 2 best are both 1971 Topps cards  Thurman Munson and Roberto Clemente.

Thought about getting them graded but they have been in thick like 1/4 inch plastic cases since before I got them in the late 80s collecting them with my dad.

Unless they are 9 or 10 grade (highly unlikely) the value wouldn’t out weigh the cost to have them graded.

Assuming they aren’t 9 or 10, what type of value do those 2 have? I have been out of the BB card game since the 90s when I had a Beckett magazine subscription that I constantly knew the value. And that was before card grades were really a thing.
