Last Minute Bachelor Party Ideas....Go!

My youngest brother in law is getting married July 3rd (I know, holiday weekend wedding...how selfish).

His best man is in the Marines and he's stationed out in San Diego and his leave just got denied to come home. COVID sucks.

Long story short, myself and the groom's brother have now been tasked w/ restructuring the bachelor party.

We are in the Toledo area and are willing to travel to Cleveland, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Auburn Hills/Detroit. That's our radius.

If we stay somewhere for the night, it will just be one night. July 1st into July 2nd. There should be about 6-7 of us going.

The groom is 21, but not a big partier or drinker by any means, so this makes it a little tougher. Everyone else in the group is a good time but we want to respect his wishes and do something he would appreciate and enjoy. We do all like to golf so that will definitely be on the agenda wherever we go.

I've spit balled staying at the Maumee Bay lodge and playing golf there then maybe hitting up downtown Toledo for dinner and a couple bars after. Also thought about maybe going to one of the Topgolf locations (Auburn Hills, Cleveland, Columbus) and staying in one of those cities and then playing a round of golf there.

Any last minute ideas from the OC?

I like the top golf idea for this situation, hit a comfortable bar afterwards

If he is a golfer, look into a place you can stay and play 3 rounds. Forrest Dunes is about 3 hours north of Toledo. So maybe a bit far, but I'm sure you could find a great place. If I wasn't a partier but liked golf...I'd want to "splurge" on one of Americas great courses and then just socially drink with my friends and grill out at the course cabins.

Arcadia Bluffs is even better, but also further. I don't know any in Ohio, but I'm sure you could find some, just the courses wont be as "reknown" as the ones in N. Michigan since most of the top courses in Ohio are private. Indiana has French Lick - which also has a casino lol

You could try Pebble Beach or Sawgrass.  Probably outside your radius.  Have you considered St. Andrews?

Oh stop. Columbus is 2.5 hours away, I suggested a course just over 3 hours and rated in the top-25 in America, with a second 18 to play 1/3 rounds.

Hookers and blow. You can add in the other stuff like golf or whatever for the losers/prudes who want something more "wholesome".

I don’t have anything to contribute other than i bet it really sucks trying to plan a bachelor party during COVID.

Go with Heretic’s idea.

I'd go golf or go to a lake. Rent canoes, kayak, boat or whatever. Insert shrooms, booze, and ratty strippers.

I know there is a bug that sometimes cuts posts off. Not sure why.

I think he meant to say “I knew I could count on you guys for wonderful advice 😃!” But got too distracted calling up golf courses and hookers.

That was weird.

I definitely posted, "I knew I came to the right place for help."

Posted from a computer too, not from mobile device. OC is going to hell....
