Celebrities that you associate with their character but eventually realize they massively suck

Obviously it's Meghan Markle that inspired this.

The news yesterday is that her and Harry were in NY, and then were chased by paparazzi.  Let's break that down:

- How do you get in a dangerous car chase in Manhattan?!?

- How do you get in a dangerous car chase when this is how your mother died?

- Seems a little suspicious when you've openly talked about fearing the same thing could happen that happened to your mother.

I feel like this might have been an opportunistic stunt on their part.  Seems attention starved Meghan can't go more than a few months without seeing her name in headlines.

If this truly happened in Manhattan, then there would be a ton of video to prove it. There are cameras all over that borough.

Really? He's an ass?  I've never heard much about him.

Jennifer Anniston seems to be one that everyone says is super nice and genuine.

It supposedly lasted for over 2 hours.  I guess maybe they didn't want the paparazzi to know where they were staying.  But that seems excessive.  Plus, if I was desperate and I was Harry and Meghan, I'm sure I could jump out at any high end restaurant/bar and be allowed to exit through the back door.

Or, you know, call the police in that two hour window.

The obvious answer, before all her shit came out, was Ellen DeGeneres, turns out shes a complete asshole.

I have heard Rainn Wilson, played Dwight Schrute in the office, can be a real dick about people who only know him as Dwight and don't know any of his other stuff.

Trying to remember a few others, like Harrison Ford also is "great" as long as it isn't about Han Solo, not sure why he hated that role (heard he only agreed to do the Force Awakens if he died in it).

Phil Mickelson. Because who he played in front of the cameras was always an act. This is not a LIV comment. This is a hes a raging asshole comment.

Guess I slightly misunderstood the topic a bit.

That is what made him a good actor.

I was a big Brett Favre fan when he was in the league. Now he’s quite the dirtbag.

No, I think you are the only one who did lol. But its easier to point to sports figures for this group, who never actually played a character on TV (except Favre played himself in Something About Mary)

I think that's fair.  Many athletes certainly try to project a certain image, one that they hope is marketable and appeals to advertisers.

I guess the point is we tend to feel like we know someone watching them play a game, or act in a show.

One thing seems universally true, in business as well: when people have "fuck you" money, a good number tend to become very entitled divas.
