I'd be down with that. As far as I'm concerned, if people put out of a job due to COVID can potentially make more money for sitting at home, why shouldn't I wind up with more for actually being considered essential and having to continue doing my job?
This hasn't affected me financially but it does kind of piss me off that people are making more, sitting at home, than they would at their job and have no motivation to return.

This would of been a good idea 3ish months ago. All this talk about essential workers and they are going to come out of this making less than people who were able to sit at home and watch Netflix for 2 months. Crazy.
