They gotta fire Staley, right?

They very well might. This might be controversial, hot take, etc. But they don’t get enough criticism IMO. Maybe it’s because not enough people care about them. But they’re always in that playoff conversation, sometimes even selected to be in the Super Bowl. And they just chronically underachieve. And Herbert kind of gets a pass, too.

Broncos defense allowing 80 points total over this five game win streak. The same defense that allowed 70 to the Dolphins earlier this season.

No guarantees that Steelers, Browns, Texans, Colts, Broncos get to 10 wins…with their 3-5 co Defence record they need to go 4-1 with loss to Cowboys I’d guess.

Pittsburgh will get 10-11 wins with that cake walk schedule down the stretch. I think the Browns can get to 10, with wins against the Bears, Jets & Bengals. Assuming the Texans can get to 10, beating the Browns, and the Donkeys can get to 10, that would leave the Browns as a 10 win team on the outside looking in.

Offensively, the Browns/Jets game could look like Army v Navy.

No way a 10 win Browns team gets left out. Too unpred

Browns were 10-6 in 2007 and were left out. Still a chance the Browns don't get to 10 wins if the news on Myles is bad today.

Interesting. Didn't Reich want Stroud?

Jets missed in 2015 at 10-6. All they had to do was beat the Bills in the final game. Fitz threw 3 picks in the 4th quarter.

Browns lost to the Bengals, who they had put up almost 50 on in the 2nd game of the year, in the second to last game. In the first game, Jamal Lewis ran for 220+ yards. In the second game, in  40-50 mph winds, the Browns offensive coordinator thinks it's a good idea to throw the ball 40-50x's and Derek Anderson throws 4 picks. Colts decide to sit Peyton Manning in the final game (for the most part), play Jim Sorgi and the Titans win and get in.

Too early to tell on Young vs Stroud (but trending heavily toward Stroud) but I knew that was a mistake by the Panthers when I heard they were favoring Young.

Dionte on that fumble….you see that bs?

That wasn't a good look. And can't say I was surprised. That was about the play right after he would have had a TD if he'd just maintained the catch into the ground, so dude was likely still sulking about how the refs called the play or how Tomlin didn't challenge the result or how life just isn't fair. Since I do tend to get the impression about Dionte that he's a mid receiver with the ego of an all-time great.

I could let the Dionte reaction on that play go if it was just a fumble he didnt see right away or whatever. But when you see the whole clip and he doesnt even bother to block (on a play run towards his side)... that would be my much bigger issue.

It’s much bad. Fields is like watching soccer…..a ton of great moves and instincts, just never scores.

The man has 10 INTs and 14 fumbles. Even if he was perfect last night, he would still have awful turnover numbers. The power of winning really warps peoples perception of a QB playing well. He has been really bad almost all season and is about to be traded and benched for the 2nd time this year. Yet... Browns FO made a mistake lol.

The fools saying the Browns FO made a mistake are basing it strictly on hindsight.

Prior to this season, I think Dobbs had 80-ish career pass attempts. He got outplayed by DTR in preseason (Dobbs was miserable, fwiw) and most people were thrilled to get a 5th rounder for a bag of used golf balls. He starts balling out, ever so briefly, and the "I told ya so's" (even though they never told ya so) come out of the woodwork.

Career Ham & Egger.

Sal Paolantonio is of the firm belief that the Patriots will trade Belichick to the Chargers once Staley is fired.
