Smart enough to hire the right people to run a successful congressional election campaign.

Not smart enough to know not to tamper with a witness the day before a Congressional testimony on fucking social media for all of God's green creation to see.

Who's wasting their vote again?

Oh no QO, the trade deficit in goods has gotten bigger.  How can this be spun?  I'm sure you'll find someone to blame who is not Trump.  But be honest with us, if it had shrunk, wouldn't you be on here trumpeting it with the "Change we can (really) believe in"?

It's kind of exactly like who he is as a businessman....He's a savant at marketing/branding, but that's pretty much the beginning and ending of his smarts.  The last 20 years I don't think he really even builds much any more, just licenses out his name.

He's popular because I'd wager at least half the population equates being a bully with strength and leadership (I realized this back during the Biden/Ryan VP debates in 2012).  And if people think you're a leader, then they presume you're also smart.  This is why, at the end of the day, Trump was able to win OH, MI and PA.  He picked off enough of the Blue blue-collar voters to get over the top.

People are stupid - I'd guess most know everything they "know" about politics from the occasional ad they accidentally sit thru on tv.  Well, that and tv shows themselves.  Trump will probably not be the dumbest/most ridiculous POTUS in our lifetime.....

Lighthizer nearing trade deal --

I like this guy; he appears to be damn serious about getting a good agreement, something we haven’t had in decades in a trade negotiator.

I’ll say 40,000 gather in Grand Rapids this evening for the rally; say 10,000 inside and 30,000 outside and along the route.  Should be fun.

I read they were camping out at 3am.  Sort of like they did for Hillary.   :)

Yeah, but we all know that any attempt to correct those way-off estimates that Trumpites have for their rallies is pure "fake news"! Each one of them is the biggest of all time and even biglier than the last one!

I was immediately skeptical that 30k would set-up outside, on a night in the low 40's, with R3 of the NCAA tourney on.
