From even liberal sources I have been seeing that Kaine has been terrible. Not sure who the hell would actually watch it though

Thankfully I only have to do this every four years. I even watched every Bernie and Hillary debate. Its a personal choice of mine to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. I just prefer to try and get my info in context as best I can and not in media edited sound bites with commentary. When I see a piece in the media I usually search for the raw speech to make sure I am not being bamboozled by the media both left and right.

Have no idea why I've watched this except I must hate myself, but if it wasn't for Pence having to defend Trump and his ridiculous comments I think he would have looked quite a bit better than Kaine.

Watched the highlights of the debate... my only question is... why does Trump and Pence think they can deny what Trump has said. It's 2016. there's audio and video of everything. You look like an idiot when you deny stuff that you're recorded doing.

The issue isn't denying what he's saying; he's denying the context in which they are being used. Pence makes a good point here; Trump has said some stupid shit but a lot of it is sound byted to death and taken out of context.

The debate sucked but overall I'd give the slight edge to Pence. Kaine was a complete jackass up there and Pence was very stable and composed. The only issue with Pence is I know too much about his background and he's a complete nut job but he handled the debate well.

Why did Hillary pick Kaine? No one better?
