The debate sucked but overall I'd give the slight edge to Pence. Kaine was a complete jackass up there and Pence was very stable and composed. The only issue with Pence is I know too much about his background and he's a complete nut job but he handled the debate well.

Why did Hillary pick Kaine? No one better?
Well I don't think you're completely wrong, but I will call bullshit on Trump/Pence only denying stuff taken out of context. He's said plenty of shit about Russia and abortion and women etc.. that they're both trying to backtrack on and are failing miserably doing so.

The Kaine pick was always a head scratcher. The only thing I could ever come up with was Hillary was so confident she'd win that she could go with the most vanilla pick ever.

Because this election is not about truth or substance.

This election is the strangest thing I've ever seen. It's very surreal. It's like one of those dreams you have and go.. good thing that would never happen. ..but it is happening. I can guarantee one thing... you'll never see another election with both candidates as bad as this.

Yeah exactly. Until it comes straight from Wikileaks I'm calling bullshit.

I don't typically give the GOP much credit, but I have faith they can find someone better than Donald fucking Trump next time.

True. Trump has said some really dumb shit IN context and OUT of context that defending all of it is literally impossible.

The troubling thing is the media taking his quotes out of context and running with it like Isidore is writing the headlines.

Mike Pence is a solid citizen, and a good governor.

Tim Kaine was picked for one reason: Virginia.

If he were the first name on the ticket the Pubs may have had a fighting chance at my vote.

Mike Pence doesn't think women or gays deserve human rights.

Hard for me to call someone like that "good". He's a bigot POS.

If a person wants to believe, no biggie. If a person wants to use their PERSONAL belief as the foundation of their legislation while holding a public office, so countless people can be affected by their ability to pick and choose which verses in their holy book are deserving of becoming law, they deserve failure.

The nerve of him. What kind of asshole tries to make it harder on women to kill babies. Shame on him.

I suppose I should preface by saying I don't like him and think he would be a poor presence in the White House.

However, denying someone a single right isn't the same as suggesting they shouldn't have human rights as a whole. Just for the purpose of accuracy, he doesn't advocate mass extermination or anything.

Still, as a candidate, his brand of social policy dances between authoritarian and just stupid.

From a cultural shaming standpoint, I wouldn't even have an issue with him being called out to defend the religious views he holds. If he feels so strongly about other people acting in accordance with them, surely he knows why he holds them, right?

The "retarded" part is actually ironic, given the topic. Wasn't he the one who passed a law involving fetuses that would be born with disabilities?

I don't really want to get into an abortion debate.

It's important for the health and safety of women to be legally allowed to remove a cluster of cells from their body if they choose to do so. This is not killing babies; this is about women's health and women's rights.

Also Roe v. Wade happened. Making it harder for women to make a decision on their own health against a constitutionally defended ruling makes Mike Pence and his followers the asshole.

The GOP will continue to lose elections until they grow up and get out of the stone age.

Hmmmm...health and safety.....

Certainly not for the unborn child.

Convenience, yes. Health and safety....not often.
