Love my DISH.....have had it for 8 years.

Direct has a great deal for 6 months then it gets pricey.

I've not once thought about switching.

DISH. I have DirecTV. It's expensive AF. I will be switching to DISH as soon as my contract is up with DirecTV, and DirecTV will never again be an option.

It has been Dish for me since 2008 and I have no complaints! It is cheaper than Direct TV and better customer support vs. TWC (I had TWC form 2002-2008).

The only reason most have Direct over Dish would be for the NFL package. Dish has only the RedZone channel, but for only about $10 per month it is a lot cheaper. With playing fantasy football, my son and I actually prefer it since you get to see all the scores from all the games.

I've had Dish for almost 2 years now. Really like it.

I have thought about cutting the cable, but it's tough with as much sports as I like to watch. Money would be nice.

Another vote for Dish. Initially DirecTV will make their deal look good, but in 6 months the cost goes way up.

I have Dish. Very happy with their service and pricing. Switched from Time Warner in 2007.

i'm a firm believer in DirecTV. i'm also considering cutting the cord and having just bought a jailbroken apple TV i would say that i'm almost assuredly going that way in the next 6 months

I've had both...but the NFL ticket is and will always be the reason for me to stick with Direct Tv. Cost way to much but its worth every penny.

Had Dish, switched to Direct and now seriously thinking about going back to Dish. Too many price increases by Direct.

Here's a question... Does moving automatically get you out of a contract? We will be moving in the next couple months, and I want out of my DirecTV contract. I will be paying for it if I have to... unless there is a way NOT to.

They won't let you out free because they can move with you.

Truth. Only place that don't allow it would be apartments/condos with specific rules on location of dish and the dish can't point toward the satellites.

Love DirecTV. Will never change. My parents had dish and had a horrible time and switched to direct.

I was offered $28 a month for Sunday Ticket because I told them I didn't want it anymore. I tried to get it for $20 but they said no. If you try and cancel they'll lower the price. Patriots were on TV too much to make it worth it for me.

Change your package.

Also - If anyone signs up for directv please DM so you can use me as a recommendation so we can save $10 a month.
