Sorry, your source is no better. It purports "myths" that actually are the truth according to most animal experts, including the AVA.

Here is an article by web MD that is factual and examines both sides of the issue.

Gosh a ruddies all the stuff about them not being as likely to attack than other types or that their jaw pressure is not that different from other dogs is not important. Results are what is important. Even though they are far from the most popular type dog, they kill far more than any other and mainly children and old people. People have so many choices in selecting a dog. Why offer the choice of by far the most likely killer. If they only ate their owners, its a free country but their taste runs to the very young and the very old.

I stumbled onto this gem of a thread late but put me solidly in the "euthanize ALL pit bulls" camp. #1 they are an ugly as fuck dog to begin with #2 they breed like rabbits (consider who mostly owns them) and #3 "No mister...your dick isn't any bigger because you own a pit bull".

a six year old boy torn apart by a pit bull 2 weeks ago. The boy had played with the dog before, but it turned on him.

gosh a ruddies you can see the difference from pit bull attacks. the german shepherd and the Labrador did not kill the kid, a pit bull would have.

Wonder why these pit bull attacks never happen in Upper Arlington or Dublin? They always seem to be somewhere with a more urban flavor like anywhere in the greater Cleveland area.

gosh a ruddies, showing the victims of pit bulls (who are mainly small children and the elderly) is a public service, the same as those warning ads on TV. The guilty are all those who come on this site and present their "cute" pit bull pictures and anecdotes. They are presenting the false picture of these killer dogs that will endanger more innocent human lives.
