From what I hear up here in northern wayne county is it's a family thing, DO NOT BASH THE COACH OF THE BEARS, or to will have to deal will with numbnuts! God i hope you guys make it in and we draw you! basic coaching will win that!

From what I have seen, the Bears are going to finish in the 3-5 spot in the league. This lines up about exactly where their talent level is compared to the rest of the league. Blame the coach, blame the parents, blame the kids if you like. In my mind the bottom line is that the teams ahead of us in the WCAL just have better player.

As for me, I am going to sit back, enjoy the games and cheer on the Bears the rest of the way. (I think we win out and make the playoffs)

Multiple pages of complaints about a coach who just won 49-14 and is in the thick of a playoff race........but what about the team on the wrong end of the score? Dalton is really struggling this season. Were they expected to be this bad? Any talent coming up through the pipeline? This is a program that was a perennial power in the WCAL for several decades and doesn't seem to be anywhere close to competing for league titles anytime soon.

He is all about class for our coaches and our QB, I guess cause the kid lights you up everytime he faces you , Again hope for for a week 11 match up but a week 12 would really boost our spirits!

Don't take it too seriously. A few people on here are at each other's throats for much of the season, but truth be told, it's just because there are a lot of people on here who are proud of their local football teams, and they tend to get passionate about it.

It's pretty crazy to think we have this many WCAL teams this close. It's actually a shame. There are teams from the WCAL that aren't going to make it, but who would make it most years, when the league would not be quite so competitive.

Yeah, I remember a few scratching their heads after Rittman jumped out to a 3-0 start, but the teams they beat weren't complete scrubs, and they just shocked Northwestern. If people weren't paying attention to Rittman before, they are now.

As for Smithville, their record is about what I thought it would be after league play started, but I thought they'd lose to Chippewa and beat Hillsdale. Nice to see them getting some work in this year!

I apologize in advance that my opinion differs from yours. I've been to 2 Waynedale games this year and trust me when I say there was a lot of talk about this coach. I don't know anyone there so I am definitely an outsider just telling you what I heard. The talent is there, the execution is not! I am sure even someone with your mental capacity could see that on Friday nights. Now carry on!

How about Orrville and Waynedale swap coaches. Throw in a future early rd pick and you can all call it even? Maybe then everyone can be happy.

Smithville and Hillsdale are very comparable this year, as evidenced by the fact that the game between the two went into overtime. And Tom Williams is an excellent coach, so there's no vulnerability there.

I think this game will show us what kind of team the Chipps are this year. They'll be playing a tough team after a disappointing loss. This will show us what they're made of.
