If that's the best Holmgren can do with his 1st pick, he has failed. Sorry!!

Yeah, I wanted Thomas too but that would have also been a reach.

Yet I didn't see Alex Mack plant a kiss on any of his male friends when he was drafted last year. I think old Ben will be telling Pouncey "boy you sure got a pretty mouth."Al Capone wrote: If that's the best Holmgren can do with his 1st pick, he has failed. Sorry!!

The Browns can get a sleeper in Myron Rolle in the later rounds. With Haden you get a shutdown corner, which the Browns needed. Ask the Jets how Revis is working out for them...

If the browns got bradford, haden, and suh you would still claim they had a terrible draftAl Capone wrote:When Hines Ward lays him out, will they call it the ''Haden'' rule?DeyDurkie5 wrote: HADEN![]()

I agree which makes me even happier. They gave us picks and a runningback for a 3rd string qbBR1986FB wrote:But better than Quinnbuckeyes_woowee wrote: I love Tebow going to the Broncos. He will be a bust for sure

What is interesting to me is that Kyle Wilson is still available. The Browns were down between him and Haden

The Revis comparison (regarding Haden) is really nothing new. Early on in the process, prior to his 40 times, I had seen him referred to as "the next Darrelle Revis" by a few of these analysts. I think that's a stretch personally.

I had mentioned earlier that Scout.com's Adam Caplan had Clausen falling to us at 38.spartan wrote: if clausen falls? do they pick him over mccoy?

And 2 teams in front of us possibly wanting a QB...Weiss may push for Clausen in KC.Sonofanump wrote: Well 6 picks away and 2 QB sitting there.

Really like the Haden pick, you can never have too many good CB's.
Hopefully McCoy or Clausen is available to us in the 2nd round.

Looks like two solid OLB's still left on the board.
You'd think someone would look to get Mays here.

Do the browns work the Rams for pick 33, assuming MIN wants a QB at 34?
That way, at least the Browns get their choice between the two. They'd probably have to give up a 3rd and a 5th for it, and they have the picks to do so.

For what it is worth
here is Kipers best available:
1) Clausen QB
2) Kimble OLB
3) Griffen DE
4) Brown OT
5) McCoy QB
6) Benn WR
7) Mays S
8) Price DT
9) Saffold OT
10) Cody DT
Don't know if the DL are 3-4 or 4-3 guys, but who above does not fill a position of need.

Fuck Taylor Mays, I'd rather take Kurt Coleman from OSU or some other safety like Chad Jones. Mays was burnt so many times last year, hell his own college coach wouldn't take him in the 1st round when they needed a safety.
(BTW I am drunk so the Coleman comment should be taken with some salt).
I just hate Mays, he is overrated and I'll be heavily disappointed if he is a Brown.
