Unlike others here, I will make NO EXCUSES for Johhny. Yeah he's a rookie. Doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. With Kyle Shanahan designing plays the way he does. there will be wide open receivers. Johnny will hit them.

I wish Ed McMahon was still alive. Because...heeeeeeeeeere's Johnny.

Let's get it started...uh huh...let's get it started..

Favre comparisons are good....but I liken him to Fran Tarkington.

Love Peralta's value. Have always wished him success, even with the Kitties. I knew he was juicing, though.

Admittedly, I didn't get too see Fran play other than old NFL films stuff.

In Favre, I see the creativity and play-making ability. Gun slinger mentality. Making things happen.

True, pissed me off when he went to the Cards, though, because seriously, fuck those guys.

Will the Bengals even show up? If the Bengals do not forfeit, the Bears NFL record for margin of victory in a game at 73 is in serious jeopardy. I hope Kyle Shanahan calls that play where Johnny runs around in circles, closes his eyes, throws it as high and far as he can, and a receiver catches it 40 yards downfield.

If Johnny Football is as durable as Jhonny Peralta, I'll be very happy. If Johnny football throws like Johnny Unitas, I'll be even more happy!

Ha ha! Bringing up the old stuff!

I couldn't hardly stand that "Jhonny" spelling. And here, good old Footwedge uses it in the thread title.

I remember........long ago and far away.......laughing about the moniker "Footwedge".

I wonder if others know what that means?

Sure. It's Spanish for "bad with statistics."

If you read his post too, you'll notice that overall, he spelled "Johnny" correctly in 2/4 attempts. That actually exceeded my expectations.

Oooh looky...there's some Hoyer knob polishers like Al Turdy thread shitting. LOLOL. You can find Brian selling cars at the I-90 Nissan dealership...because the DEALS are so good.

The rookie quarterback will be thrown into the fire playing 3 teams fighting for a playoff spot. Most rookies would wilt. Not this kid. He will be a HOFer for sure. Cleveland fans now have a guy that = Rogers, Brady. Peyton and Breez. And the remarkable thing is that a whole bunch of so called Browns fans will be rooting against him.

No Browns fans will root against him. If you root against players, you aren't a true fan of the team.

Too bad the Browns gave up on their season naming Johnny Football the starter.

They sure as Hell weren't making it with Hoyer. He's been on a downward spiral for awhile. To think that he was just going to snap his fingers and "poof" become a good QB is unrealistic.

A monkey with no fingers who had never played QB could've willed the Browns to victory over the Colts with the way the defense played. All he needed was to complete one more pass or get one more first down to keep the clock moving and he couldn't even do that. So, in typical Hoyer fashion, he falls into a pile of tits and comes out sucking his thumb. The guy just sucks.

I would interested in this stat: How many times has a team scored two defensive TDs in a game and lost? I bet the winning % for teams that score 2 defensive TDs is above 90%.
