but how many times can a person be 'duped'? Just .01 over the legal limit for DUI. Second hand smoke triggered positive test. Didnt check if the codeine his Dr prescribed was against the NFL rules, had 2 beers and 2 drinks on the flight.....

Something has to give he has to realize he needs to take care of business and stop making excuses of not knowing, being in the wrong place...etc.

As for criticizing Carter, STephen A, etc.....well, those guys have jobs to talk about the goings on in the NFL and when guys mess up.....they will drill them.

As an alcoholic, I made many, many, many excuses and rationalization back in my drinking days. I was in complete denial of my problem and thought world had a personal vendetta against me.

Now I don't know if Josh Gordon is an alcoholic or addict. I don't know him whatsoever.

But I do know that those who are in the throws of addiction are very sick people. If that's the case here, I hope he comes to this realization so that he can get the help he needs. Football is inconsequential in comparison.

There's nothing to talk about right now until closer to the draft. Right now, the main Browns topics are a) the alcoholic QB with no work ethic, b) the pothead WR who cares more about hitting a bong than his career and c) an organization that jacked up ticket prices for a shitty on the field product. You don't smoke pot and barely fail one sample while passing the other. You would easily fail both samples. As someone who helped in the drug testing of student-athletes last year, I know.

So you are defending a guy, the best offensive weapon you have and one of the best in the league even though he screwed over that team once again? Fact is...he got busted. Cost the offense basically a whole season. Got busted again, maybe out next year.
