Sorry, this one needed its own stupid thread. You two can just STFU now about Hoyer needing benched.

Oh, and I normally don't listen to 92.3 in the morning because Boom is a retard, but I have to see if he doubles down and goes full retard tomorrow morning.

Bailed out on at least 12 should've been intercepted passes.

Their logic isn't wrong. I mean we would be 8-1 with JFF. We are so stupid.

Browns won without: Mack, Cameron, Gordon, Hawkins. I'd think those are the 2nd to 4th best players on the offense and Hawkins is a starter.

We have been instructed to thread bad for trolls. I let Iggy and Wedge go before because they didn't really troll...but at this point, it is all in in Hoyer and you won't have to out up with them calling for his head any more...it has to be trolling at this point.

The better Hoyer does the longer JFF stays in the league.

How pathetic does your life have to be if you choose to found misery when your team has its best start since 1994? Remember when IQQY bitch and moaned about the Pettine hire? Well Pettine is the first Browns coach to get more than 5 wins (and it's week 9) since 2007. The guy is doing it with a depleted defensive line and not even close to their best offense.

Compared to what we've seen in recent years, Pettine is a godsend. Old Patty Shurmur used to say "we need to coach them up." He spoke of this ALL the time. Pettine & company are actually DOING it.

Guys like Buster Skrine, K'Wan Williams, Taylor Gabriel, Crowell, etc are playing at a very high level. I love this teams "next man up" philosophy. They don't bitch/moan/make excuses, they just plug someone else in.

As much as it pains me to make the comparison, it kind of reminds me of the old Steelers. Key players would go down and they'd put some no name in there who'd step up (see James Harrison).

I unblocked IQQY for a couple mins to collect these gems. Anyway, I am back to blocking him, and he can go fuck himself.
IggyPride00;1651590 wrote:This team is not ready to play football. Nice to see preseason carry over.

Pettine is a joke and an embarrassment.
IggyPride00;1651601 wrote:Didn't we hire a defensive genius at head coach? What a joke.
IggyPride00;1651617 wrote:We hired Pat Shurmur. Wasting timeouts on confusion and an inability to be ready for the play.

Pettine is in so far over his head it is scary.

Get him and his personal butt boy Hoyer out of here so the grown ups can have a shot at running this team.
IggyPride00;1651629 wrote:Pettine said he was going to have guys "playing like a Brown", at least he kept his promise about something because he's been a piece of shit about everything else.

I wish I could bottle whatever bill of goods he sold Jimmy during the interview process.
IggyPride00;1651649 wrote:This is some funny shit.

Pettine needs to be fired immediately.
IggyPride00;1651655 wrote:I would hate to think of what the defense would look like if we hadn't spent all out free agency money and a 1st round pick on it while hiring a defensive minded head coach.
IggyPride00;1651667 wrote:Post of the day from the OBR.

Edit: He quoted a post from the OBR stating that the Browns hired a guy who gave Weeden his last win. LOL at going to the OBR forum for your bullshit.
IggyPride00;1660735 wrote:He is who everyone but Jimmy Haslam thought he was.

Pettine is a fucking bum as I have been saying, and this is why not 1 other NFL team even considered giving him an interview for a head coaching job.

I don't even care if they come back and win, to come out this unprepared after a bye tells you all you need to know about Pettine's abilities.
IggyPride00;1660744 wrote:Haslam needs to start putting people on notice.

We hired a high school coach.

It's time to let the grown-ups come in and start cleaning this mess up.

I have been watching Brian Hoyer play football since he's 14.

The next team that wins anything of consequence with him as a starting QB will be the 1st.

He will tear your heart out. Just wait.

When it happens don't come running to me and apologizing for having bought in to a guy that is going to fail.

Not trolling at all.

You obviously weren't old enough or don't remember 2007.

Brian Hoyer is Derek Anderson.

Those of us with eyes see where this is going. I said before the season that Hoyer would win enough games to make it impossible to get rid of him but it would screw the franchise long term because he is clearly not the answer.

We are right on schedule.

The key word being "watching". Our school had a term for the kids in the stands watching us when we played.

We called them "girls".
