The Tribe is still clinging to slim hopes, moving a step closer to catching the Mariners.

The Indians need to take all 4 games to have a decent shot at making post season. The good news is that they already have one almost in the can....just needing 3 outs to claim victory in the suspended contest from KC. Taking the next 3 won't be so easy.

The Royals send Duffy(8-11, 2.42) to the hill to face Carlos Carrasco( 8-5, 2.65) in the 2nd game tomorrow.(following the completion of the suspended game).

Tuesday's game features Ventura(13-11, 3.19) against Danny Salazar(6-7, 4.02)

Jason Vargas(11-10, 3,59) and Trevor Bauer( 5-8, 4.06) square off in the finale.

The Tribe needs to win them all....KC will face the White Sox( mailed it in) in their final series.

As far as the other wild card contenders go....

Oakland will face the Angels and Rangers in their final two series.

Seatlle must take on the Blue Jays and then the Angels to finish it out.

I am not a fan of these pitching match ups at all.

I almost forgot the suspended game.

Yes this is Sudden Death situation the nest 3 nights. One loss and they are done.

Comes down to the last week. Hard to believe we still have a shot but there it is. Getting them both tonight is really going to crank up the pressure on the Royals.
