Heres to hoping for the most epic collapse since the 2014 Brewers!
Hopefully the Tigers lose out and the Royals win out and win the division. Anybody but Detroit mode.

^^^You are correct....forgot that Seattle is 3 games behind with three to go.

Need someone to get the final series up....technically we lost the 3 game home series to the Royals, so I'm out :(

American League Cy Young watch between Sale, Felix and Kluber. I think Kluber's record is 17-8. His ERA is 2.53. Felix is 14 and 8 I think his ERA is 2.34. Sales is 12-4 with an ERA of 2.17. All 3 are deserving. I think Kluber has the edge in K's.

No thread I guess. A's up 1 in the third. Kluber dealing through 7 with 9 Ks.

I truly think if the A's lose tonight they will completely collapse. They are already feeling the pressure

Klubey might nail down the Cy with a 1-0 complete game shutout. 3-1 A's as our buddy Scott Kazmir is dealing.

I think he gets 2nd but would be fine if he won....he and Brantley might be the two most underrated players in the game. Average fans do not know them at all.

....and that's it.... the Tribe is mathematically eliminated :(

Would absolutely love the tribe going after Victor in free agency this off season. 20 million a year should do it. There's money freed up with some dumpings this year. Get rid of Swisher and his fat contract any way you can. I think Victor would welcome the chance to return. But it doesn't stop there. We need a right handed stud in right field as well.Brantley, Victor, Santana and then Gomes is just about as strong as it gets in the 3-6 holes. The starting staff is playoff caliber and since they are so young, they are also inexpensive. Wouldn't mind trading Kipnis and letting the 2 kids run the double play combination. This team has 2 everyday stars in Brantley and Gomes. Just a few more pieces needed to really contend next year.My fear is that Dolan might say fuck it...with the putrid attendance this year.

I have no idea why we didn't go after Nelson Cruz last year. He literally would have been a perfect fit in this lineup and he came pretty cheap

I have to imagine it was his PED baggage, but that just makes it a cheap deal. I would love for Footwedge to be right about Victor. He was my favorite player post-Lofton.

^^^^I agree with that. Lofton ia my favorite Indian player of all time ( ...and I go back quite aways!), Omar #2....and after that V- Mart. I would love for him to be brought back. I doubt we would win a bidding war with the Tigers.

Vmart is a pipe dream. He has no reason to come back. The team left no longer exists.

Victor put up career numbers in the money ball year for him. Maybe it's a long shot in landing him but oh my would that be a coup. So next year people would be saying about the tribe "Have you seen that line up? Wow?"The window of opportunity for winning it all is right now. They've got a strong enough staff to win and they are all underpaid for what they produce.

I actually want no part of big money to Victor.

The guy will be 36 in December, and in a non-PED world is waiting to fall off a cliff even though he is coming off a career year this year.

... And Brantley Santana and Gomes strikeout to end the game.
Tribe added another two errors to their league-leading total... Carlos Carrasco has now lost back to back 2-0 games.

Tribe wraps up 2014 with a solid 7-2 victory over the Rays winning the series 2-1.
T.J. House went 5 innings for the win.

Tribe finishes the season 85-77.
