The Cavaliers "haven't expressed much interest" in re-signing free agent Luol Deng this summer, according to beat writer Jason Lloyd.

The Cavs dangled Deng at the trade deadline this season but his expiring contract prevented them from finding any substantial offers. His scoring suffered in the Cavs' offense under coach Mike Brown, and a nagging Achilles injury caused him to miss six games with Cleveland, but a change of scenery and summer of rest should thrust him back into the top tier of fantasy SFs.

Deng is walking. No doubt about it.

I think a big factor that hasnt been mentioned yet is that Parker and LeBron have the same agent...Are the Cavs being told by LeBron or his agent(or both) to draft Parker first? I am going to say LeBron probably doesnt care at this point, he has a title to go after.

It's Lebron. Unless Maverick is Lebron's agent. I'm not sure who his agent is.

I thought Parker signed with Wasserman.

Unless this link is incorrect, Rich Paul is the agent for both Parker and LeBron.

"Meanwhile, Embiid and Duke freshman Jabari Parker are represented by the same agency (Wasserman Group) and the source said the agency is planning visits based on Embiid and Parker going 1-2 in some order over Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins."

If they want Lebron is a real possibility then no way do you draft Parker

I'm indifferent. I'm not really sure what options out there are significantly better ones. He's a really good coach.

a 10 yr deal with personnel decisions for a guy who's never been in the NBA? Yeah no thanks.

He's been in the NBA before. This was a play for lebron. If cal could have got him aboard, other personnel decisions suddenly aren't so important.

Cause Parker is a 3 in the NBA. I'd say Wiggins or Embiid are the necessary options

That was 15 years ago.

The guy can coach, and, most importantly, can coach egos/talent.

Pretty easy when you've got the best talent to win. I see your point, but he doesn't excite me. Especially at that ridiculous contract for an unproven nba guy.

Calipari to any NBA team would be as much about marketing and being able to build chemistry amongst big time egos as it would be coaching.

As much as I'd hate to see it, I can see the argument for LeBron leaving Miami for Cleveland. What a story that would be, such an epic reversal of roles. With that said, nobody has EVER had a 4-Peat. If Miami wins this year, everyone will be back for 1 more year, even if it means taking slightly less.

That's why I would want him. I also don't want that big of a question mark given that much power, so that's why I'm indifferent on him.
