Yeah I heard that too. Who knows.

random thought: who is the last elite center to lead their team to a title? I think I'd rather have an all-star/potential super-star wing compared to potentially the best C in the game.

Howard almost did it, KG in Boston, Tim Duncan, Shaq. Most indicative of the lack of elite center talent IMO.

If a player is dominant, it doesn't matter their position. Looking back at the last 20 years you had Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Shaq, Duncan, Olajuwon. And most of them still had a 2nd all-star playing with them. Kobe/Shaq, Kobe/Pau, Shaq/Wade, Duncan/Robinson, Olajuwon/Drexler, Jordan/Pippen, Lebron/Wade. The one position you don't see on there is point guard. And I don't see that changing any time soon.

The teams that didn't have a "best in the league" caliber guy had to be solid at pretty much every position. Boston (Rondo/Pierce/Allen/Garnett), Detroit (Wallaces/Rip/Billups/Prince), Dallas (Dirk/Terry/Butler/Chandler/Matrix), Spurs this year.

I think this is spot on.

Heading out to lunch today Baskin & Phelps had Bill Self on 92.3 talking about Wiggins & Embiid. Self, as their former coach, probably doesn't want to play favorites but you could tell he was leaning toward Embiid being the better player. Self said the comparisons between Embiid and Hakeem Olajuwon were "fair." If Embiid turns out to be anything like The Dream, he's gotta be the guy.

Do any Cavs fans think that the writing may be on the wall for a LBJ return? If the Heat win the championship this year, I see it happening. With Kyrie there, the #1 Embiid on the way, it just makes sense to me.

Actually, I'd think quite the opposite. Now if they could somehow land Kevin Love to a long term deal I could see him returning. I don't see him coming back to play with a bunch of young guys. I'd think he'd want a team set to contend for multiple championships immediately. That being said, still don't want him back.

Lebron isn't coming back to Cleveland.

I have no reasoning other than this is Cleveland and that would be too good of news.

No. I'm a firm believer Lebron is chasing rings so he is going to end up on ready made teams. The Cavs have no coach, haven't made the playoffs since Lebron left, and this max deal shit with Kyrie only cements the notion that he isn't happy as a Cavalier. Oh, and Dan Gilbert is still owner.

He'll stay on with the heat for the 2014-15 season and then move on if he's tired of his old ass team. Might he come back to the Cavs as part of a farewell, last team before he retires deal? Possibly, but who the fuck wants that?

Here's what I know: Lebrons people are telling cavs people to draft Jabari Parker

Heres what I don't know: why the fuck lebron cares.

If we do draft Parker though, watch out.

Here's what I know, catering to lbj's every want got us a big FUCK YOU on national tv and him bouncing to Miami to play penis flickers recruiting every fa which he never did in Cleveland. Also quit. Fuck him. Take embiid

There's a very good chance the Cavs roster next year will be better than the Heat's (not including LBJ).

I am not at all implying Lebron will come back, solely expressing my opinion of the 2 rosters.

I dont like lebron. But the fact is what I just said is happening. I don't know if Cleveland is listening and I don't know if it means he's wants back in, but he feels the need to tell them to take Parker (for whatever reason). If they do,'you'll know why...

So Lebron can play one more year at Miami while seeing if Parker works out? Yeah, fuck that. Lebron isn't coming and they sure as hell better not make moves with the hope of him coming. Plenty of teams did that the last time Lebron was a FA and they all got burned.

Lhslep, no idea how the cavs can have a better roster than the heat.

Why would lbj want Parker and not embiid?

solid question considering they both play the same position...
