“What have we done?” says Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan. “All I have known at Michigan is failure.”
..."and it's costing me mucho $$$ in the process"

wow...

WHITLOCK UNLOADS ON TAYLOR LEWAN, MICHIGAN. Brady Hoke is Jason Whitlock's boy; something the ESPN columnist is willing to admit. Whitlock campaigned for Brady Hoke, then coach of San Diego State, to replace Rich Rodriguez. Michigan, however, has disappointed Whitlock this year with its "soft, low character play." He says Michigan State "exposed" Michigan last Saturday. So who's fault is this? Definitely not the chief's:
[INDENT]I see a team that looks more like Taylor Lewan than Brady Hoke. Lewan is the Jadeveon Clowney of the Big Ten, the pampered superstar who's doing his school a favor by suiting up this season.
Clowney, the South Carolina defensive end, has taken all the heat this season for being a college superstar who's unwilling to play hard while waiting to collect NFL millions. In comparison to Lewan's performance and effort, Clowney looks like the second coming of Lawrence Taylor.
No one talks about offensive linemen because most sports fans cannot properly evaluate their play. Lewan plays my position. He's been embarrassing. The ridiculous and selfish unsportsmanlike conduct penalty he received in Saturday's game is indicative of his play all season. He's resorted to cheap shots and bullying because he failed to adequately prepare to have a dominant senior season.

Whitlock is an idiot. Some of what he says is true, but don't attack college kids on a personal level that you've never even talked to. Terrible article.

Lewan has been a huge disappointment, along with the whole O-line. But Lewan and his dirty play really sticks out.

Lewan's play overall hasn't been too bad. I think he is trying to help make up for the rest of the line, so his play suffers some. Agree on the dirtiness, which was only against MSU.

How exactly is that a personal attack?

Um, calling them out by name? And calling them low character. How is it not?

I'll have to side with Webbie on this one--I'd say this falls into the category of a personal attack, wouldn't you?

So if I player does something ridiculous, he shouldn't be called out by name??? Guarantee there were michigan writers a couple years ago calling msu players by name when they played dirty. ...

What should be have said? He probably should have left out the last sentence, but who's to say he wasn't told that by someone inside the program?

I think it's the "low class" comments that rub the wrong way.

I think if you play dirty, it's fine for someone to call you low class. Did you think Robert Reynolds was a high class player after choking Sorgi?

He said the whole team was low class, including Hoke. His comments about Lewan were separate. I have no problem with calling Lewan out for the dirty play.

Now, here is a much better article about the situation.

Home refused to suspend Lewn because Nebraska was coming to town. I like Brady, but that was weak.

Shitty game already.

Mind boggling. Safetys struggle and they get replaced in the starting lineup. RB is god fucking awful, gets 20 carries. FML.

They've lost any fight they had in them. This season is teetering on complete disaster.

Michigan is painful to watch. What the story with the other QBs on their roster?

Green should start the rest of the year and play the majority of the snaps.

Michigan is a poorly coached football team.
