And the OL shake up is official. Miller out of the starting line up, Glasgow to C and Chris Bryant to LG. Bryant is a BEAST and can be the best G in the Big Ten if he stays healthy (which has been his problem since he came to Michigan)
The last 2 games would have been fine times to start working on this.

Is Michigan gonna get it going or what? They looked damn good against ND, and then probably would have lost to BG in all seriousness the last couple weeks. Akron was clearly a notch below the Falcons and should have beaten UM, UConn is terrible and choked it away. What the hell is going on in Ann Arbor

I think it tells you something about ND

Saw some improvements yesterday but still a ways to go. OL was better, but it was Minnesota. No turnovers was probably the biggest improvement, and we saw the difference in the score. Had we turned it over 3-4 times like we had been, it would have been another UConn game.

If this is the best the team is, 8-4 is a real possibility.

Looks like Pipkins may be done for the year. Big loss. Not only for depth, but for his development as a player.

I liked the change on the OL a lot. It wasn't a dominate change, but give the new unit time to gel. Part of the improvement was splitting Funchess outside, where he basically dominated.

Th OL was certainly more effective, but I'm not sure how they'll hold up against good teams. Fun chess was a good move, but again I think you will see the effectiveness diminish as teams figure it out and plan against it. Once he starts getting covered, he isn't fast enough to really play outside. I think the key to his success is finding the mismatches.

I think Borges knows what Funchess' limitations are, which is why he used him in that stack formation a lot yesterday. Really liked the looks Gardner gets in that lineup.

I think the biggest advantage in using Funchess that way is that it gets Jake Butt in. Best 11.

I'm with you on that one. Butt is going to be a damn good TE.

Gardner is beyond frustrating. At times he looks like a ridiculously skilled QB, other times he looked worse than Denard. Stared Gallon down on that last play and threw an INT, Funchess was wide open.

Well, here comes 7-5. I'm just not sure which two they will beat.
