It's funny that UM fans claimed it was a "non-story" when Bucknuts brought it up. Doubt they care much now that Gibbons and Lewan are done.

It was a non story when Bucknuts brought it up. In fact the story was 3 years old. It certainly wasn't a cover up, as much as you'd love it to be. Gibbons was a sucky freshman kicker under Rodriguez when this went down. There was nothing to protect. There was a breakdown somewhere, but it had nothing to do with football.
No one from Michigan likes this. I expect to hear quite a bit about this. It's a black eye for the university.
