I'll go with a 7. I like the job, particularly the freedom I have. Like to have more money, but being able to basically make my own hours and do my own thing as long as I get my work done on time is pretty sweet. Only real complaint I have is a couple people here, who just are obnoxious morons. One in particular just strikes me as the root of everything wrong with this country/world, as she combines external and internal ugliness like few others can do.

Train. 75 - 100 minutes one way.

It gets old. Especially with no air conditioning.

Perhaps. Having to wear a suit and having to stand for half of the time - not easy. I almost have to take a shower when I get to the office.

Perhaps keep some work clothes at the office and wear something more cool on the train like a visor and a tank top.

Classyposter58;1474187 wrote:One. It's terrible, especially on days like this when it's 90 inside the building and doing fast manual labor combines to make it probably the worst thing ever. UPS is just a bad place honestly, an absolute pressure cooker from the top down which results in angry management because they're constantly being harassed by their bosses to increase production with less workers. The result is a bunch of usually grumpy and overwhelmed group of middle and lower management who aren't the friendliest day to day.
How many years have you worked there? Curious if misloads normally begin to rise in July, August? It's the hottest time of the year and keeping employees more comfortable (not sweating their asses off because of zero air movement) possibly misloads would drop.

Amazing how much just a simple fan could save a company money..........
