Pestano hasnt looked nearly as good as years past recently. Going all the way back to the WBC.

Pitched in the WBC. Didn't get a normal spring training. Ended up on the DL. This is his 2nd appearance off the DL, right?

He will find it. Rather have him finding it May when the rest of the team is playing well to pick him because he will need to be lockdown August-(hopefully) October.

yeah and I agree. Just pointing it out.

I hate the WBC. I like the concept, but the timing is terrible.

It's one thing when Pestano messes up because he seems to love the City and embraces the fans. CP is just a big douche and I have no problem not liking him when he does anything but perfection.

I stood up for him on Saturday. You can have a bad outing every once in a while. But 3 home runs in last 2 appearances? He was throwing get ahead cockshots like he had a 4 run lead.

He didn't look like he had any focus. Shitty job out of him today.

Perez always seems to lack focus. He goes 0-2 to 3-2 more then any pitcher I remember...and without making guys foul off pitches. Just seems like he gets up 0-2 and expects them to swing at whatever he throws up there.

Perez can't pitch in non-save situations. He's fucked up over and over. If he doesn't get it together, I could see him being moved. There's a lot of good arms in the bullpen.

That pisses me off. He had good stuff today. Got 2 Ks and a weak fly out for his outs.

So it definitely says to me it was just a matter of focus. You can't let Endy fucking Chavez hit his 1st home run of the year off you in a tie game in the 9th. Sometimes you don't have your good stuff and get beat and sometimes you get beat by a good hitter but Chavez is not that.

I know you can't win every game but was one they had. Scored 6 runs and led going into the 8th. Maybe they have some magic left in this series in the 9th.

Kind of feel bad for the Mariners. They seem much improved. They play hard and don't quit. Series has been heartbreaking for them.

Hopefully they lose on another walk off today.
