I think there's a real chance Usher is done after next week. You'd think it would be a semi-disaster if Usher and Shakira were done while Blake and Adam each had 3 left. I doubt they would rig the vote, but...

Blake must bring a pretty big country voting bloc to the show, because I would never have bet Josiah went home before the Swan brothers. I think it might be a little advantage to be country, too, because there are a lot of good/fun country songs that I suspect many people aren't familiar with (so they do better, because most aren't going to compare them to the original).

Danielle has probably wrapped it up for sure now as I think the only way she could have lost was someone splitting votes with her, and both of the guys who could do that went home tonight. Heck, the Swan brothers are the only male contestant left.
I think Blake does a good job of letting his artists be who they are. Let's be honest, Blake should be 3 for 3 in wins so far. Dia was by far the best artist in season one. He seems to have a knack for picking great voices, and just kinda letting them do their thing. I am kinda surprised the Swon Brothers have made it as far as they have though. Country does kinda have an advantage, because it is mostly different from the other genres, which kinda overlap, which probably hurts the votes.

I think Usher has the best coaching tactics. Shakira picks the worst fucking songs. She is the reason Thomas went home. Usher may have had a chance to win it all if he had Thomas.

Wasn't surprised to see those two go home. I think Danielle will win because she's basically Taylor Swift, even though she doesn't have a top 3 voice in my opinion. Judith, Sasha, and Sarah are the top 3 imo. I'm tired of Blake and him exclusively picking country songs every fucking time.

Dude knows how to win.

I feel bad for Usher and Shakira, only having one singer each left. However, Shakira has dug her own grave, picking stupid fucking songs.

Can't stand Judith, and I'm tired of the MJ shit. Danielle, Sarah and Holly are my faves right now.

I agree - she's the reason Garrett got voted off, no one wants to hear backstreet boys, especially repurposed.

Wait, you can't stand her because the show hypes up her MJ relationship? She's 10 times better than Danielle and Holly. Of course anyone in the bible belt is going to vote for Blakes team. Now that he did his Oklahoma tribute he's going to win. I thought Holly was really boring this week, not to mention she looks like Miss Piggy.

I give Holly props for singing the song she did. She's ugly, though, and I don't like ugly.

I agree. Judith is just another black gospel type singer who won't amount to anything. The MJ thing is really getting annoying quick. Danielle is going to win the whole damn thing so It doesn't matter.

Because what we really need is another Taylor Swift.

Actually I'm not, RDI, I consider myself more of a classic rock fan. I respect that both of us have such different opinions, but in this case, mine is correct-lol

Either way it doesn't matter, no one who wins the voice gets any notoriety anyways. I'm not really a fan of anyone left on the show, which sucks. I don't really listen to any female singers and I think all country music sounds the same and I can't stand it.

I think The Voice NEEDS Danielle Bradbury to win. She's the only one who could be a star.

Judith had that one great performance, otherwise she's really not that special. I'm kind of surprised she's still around. And she has plenty of connections and some opportunities - you have to think there's a reason why people like her haven't made it, and it's not because doors are closed to them.

She was part of MJs tour and was going to be doing a duet with him, I'd call that making it.

I think Cassadee Pope will end up with a very nice career. Blake has her on the country music scene.

Yes and no. Definitely a huge break, and as close as you can get to being your own recording star. But that's kind of my point - why did she get that far and not be able to land a contract? Don't confuse having something MJ liked, or maybe a unique voice for a particular song, to justify a few duets as having star power.

Seems like most of these shows - AI included - have background singers trying to break out on their own and usually there's a reason they've been stuck as a background singer. Doors have been open for them, as opposed to other contestants...they've already been vetted by the industry and spit out.

I'm surprised we haven't seen much of her yet. I thought she'd hit the ground running. Or is it like AI, where they have to spend so much time on the road, basically promoting the show?

Maybe. My money would be on her becoming an actress.

What's going on with Dia Frampton? I would have thought she had at least a strong niche following.

Really, The Voice has turned out some serious talent. I'm not sure who all was behind AI, but maybe something to the fact with Simon (perhaps even Randy) they had a template/machine to take these singers to the next level. Blake & friends have connections and experience, but they aren't producers or managers. I'm just not sure there is the same total "franchise" approach that Simon clearly got and executed with AI.
