I would pretty pissed if we took Eddie Lacy or a LT prospect at #6. lollhslep134;1431414 wrote:Remember how vehemently opposed I was to contemplating Weeden well before we even took him? The only way I could be more upset at a pick is if I felt similarly to a prospect as I felt towards Weeden, and yes while you're right I can't guarantee I won't feel that way in the future, it would take A LOT to get me back to that feeling of pure vitriol.
In case you didn't get the picture I F*CKING HATE BRANDON WEEDEN
This is making me lol, thinking about prospects that would make me more pissed than Quinn/Wimbley/Weeden this season.

Iggy rather have the Browns make moves that make the fans (aka cleveland radio) happy, instead of actually helping the team.Commander of Awesome;1431415 wrote:Excellent point. How many TEs in recent memory were the primary offense and won a SB?

Yeah, Gronk, Gonzo, VD, Gates, Graham, etc haven't elevated their teams to elite or great offenses have they?Commander of Awesome;1431408 wrote:Elite TEs are like Elite FBs. Who GAF?
5-10 years ago you'd be correct, but the game has changed and top receiving TEs are just as devastating to an offense (or more) as top WRs.

Granted I hate ND, so take it with a grain of salt, but I thought Quinn sucked ass in college. Lack of arm strength and inaccurate. In 07 all my friends were making fun of me bc I was so bitter about the pick. I got the last laugh on that one. Wish I hadn't though. I've had my misses as well though. Thought Curry was going to be a pwn LBer.lhslep134;1431418 wrote:I was fine with Quinn initially until realizing all of the teams that needed QBs that passed on him (LOLphins taking Ginn). That's just wrong. sure Gronk lights up the fantasty scoreboard but all those TEs listed haven't won or been the catalyst for a SB, which is all I GAF about.jmog;1431421 wrote:Yeah, Gronk, Gonzo, VD, Gates, Graham, etc haven't elevated their teams to elite or great offenses have they?

QQ all you want, and say the NFL has changed but its still all about diominating the lines of scrimage, solid run game, ELITE QB play and russing the passer. Can't rush the passer/stop the run you dont win.

Difference between selling tickets and attendance. Browns still haven't had a game blacked out since returning. I believe the Bengals had a few games blacked out last season. I am sure Cleveland's attendance numers see a siginifcant drop at the last two games of the season when it is cold and they pretty much have given up on life.se-alum;1431425 wrote:They were behind the Bengals this year in attendance.

SE, you deleted your post but I want to pwn it anyway. How many blackouts did Cincy have last season? How many did the Browns have? Ok STFU, thanks.

That I agree with 100%, Cameron looked real good in the receiving aspect last year as a rookie.lhslep134;1431411 wrote:

I agree 100% with your last sentence. The game is won and lost on the LOS. If we have a chance at an elite OG, an elite pass rusher, etc. Take them 100 times in a row.Commander of Awesome;1431424 wrote:That's just wrong. sure Gronk lights up the fantasty scoreboard but all those TEs listed haven't won or been the catalyst for a SB, which is all I GAF about.

I actually don't think we need a TE in the early rounds, so we agree there as well.
I just didn't agree with your statement about not GAF about TEs anymore. That position has become more important/helpful to modern offenses, that is not opinion, it is fact.
If we took a TE at 6 I would be upset as well.

LOL beat me to it. SE should know better. You have to know your shit if you are going to post on this thread. Provide fail posts, and you are getting called out on it. Nice fail SE. As COA said earlier, the Browns don't need to reach with fail picks to sell tickets.Commander of Awesome;1431432 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/attendance

I do? LMAO, and why is that? Bc Cincy has a fail stadium I have to account for their percentage to appease you so you dont look wrong? No I'll stick with the raw numbers thanks.se-alum;1431438 wrote:LOL...you have to look at percentage of capacity, not just average attendance.

You only have to look a percentage of capacity if the team is near 100% capacity or higher. If the Steelers or Bengals don't reach capacity as is (which is the case here), then having a larger stadium won't help.se-alum;1431438 wrote:LOL...you have to look at percentage of capacity, not just average attendance.

I looked at all the numbers SE. The only one where Cincy beat cle is in Blackouts, during a playoff run. The only reason Cincy has a smaller stadium is bc cincy is a fail football town with a joke of a fan base. So you're looking at percentage bc they have a smaller stadium? I dislike Cincy and their fan base as much as you do, I'm just saying, let's not act like the Browns are packing the stadium for all their home games. I'm not going to brag about selling tickets if the ticket buyer isn't actually coming to the games.Commander of Awesome;1431449 wrote:I looked at all the numbers SE.
