Cleveland: Yes, we're interested. What are you thinking?
Atlanta: Well, we really want Millner. How about #30, a 2nd, future 1st and 2nd?
Cleveland: Alright, we'll let you know.
Goodell: With the 6th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select CB Dee Millner, Alabama.

Don't make that same mistake twice.
I agree, I wouldn't deal with them unless it makes em bleed!!!!

Haslam is going to be ridiculed even more than he already is by the other owners. He's so new to big money he doesn't know how to cheat and get away with it.

How is he "new"? His family has owned the Company since the 50's. it isn't like he was just left billions or something. Also the whole rebate deal doesn't seem like that big of an issue to me. Companies are always trying to get away with taking discounts they aren't due, not paying on time, etc. The other companies should have been keeping their accounting for these rebates, and depending on how flying J was a accruing for these rebates, they should just have a large liability on their books that they owe. It also probably benefits them that they are a private company and not public.

There is no "knew" in Tiernan's post, nor is there a place where it belongs.

Wow! His family owned gas stations since the 50s!...BFD. Pilot did not gain huge profits until the early 90s. The Maras, Rooneys etc laugh at neuveu rich fucks like Haslam who think owning a pro franchise somehow legitimizes them amongst the old guard money. Haslam's a Jerry Jones wanna - be who will suffer years & years of disapointment with this team as his predecessors have experienced. Welcome to Cleveburg Hazzy its gonna be a long nightmare.

Haha damn those Haslams for working hard all their lives and making a Company into something. That Dan Rooney sure worked for his money, by being born a Rooney. Cool story bro. I'm sure Haslam is real worried about what other people think of his money.

Back to actual browns news, I really like that a ton of the team has shown up to mini camp and all seem to love the new offense and high intensity defense.
As for the draft Milliner seems to be the pick, and I am fine with that. I wouldn't be surprised with a trade down though. I just don't want a guard that high, too much need elsewhere and if Pinkston comes back, Greco can move to RG, not even close to as much of a need as D.
The other rumor I have heard, is that Notv loves Barkely. If we trade down and somehow get a second, he could be the pick if he falls to there.

Assuming he is there at 6 I really don't want to pass up on this guy and trade down. I know this doesn't tell the whole story about a player, but its interesting to know.

Played a mock draft game and this is the results. I would be happy if it actually played out that way.

Round 1 Pick 8 (BUF): Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon (A)
Round 1 Pick 22 (STL): Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 9 (BUF): Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M (A)
Round 3 Pick 6: Phillip Thomas, FS, Fresno State (A)
Round 4 Pick 8 (BUF): Logan Ryan, CB, Rutgers (A)
Round 5 Pick 6: Kevin Reddick, ILB, North Carolina (A)
Round 6 Pick 4 (OAK): Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma (A)
Round 6 Pick 5: Dion Sims, TE, Michigan State (A)
Round 7 Pick 3 (OAK): Brad Wing, P, LSU (A)
Round 7 Pick 31: Micah Hyde, CB, Iowa (A)

Trade w/ Buffalo for pick 8, 2nd and 4th rounders for pick 6
Trade w/ St. Louis for pick 22 for 2014 1st and 2013 4th rounder
Trade w/ Oakland for 6th and 7th rounders for 5th(31)

There's no chance of getting that much back only dropping 2 spots, but those first 5 picks would be nasty.

Guys on my wish list are Dion Jordan, Xavier Rhodes, Warmack, Philip Thomas, Tyler Wilson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Gavin Escobar, and Robert Alford, pretty much in that order. Obviously that would only probably cover rounds 1-3. I also wouldn't mind taking a gamble on Cornelius Washington if he lasts to the 5th.

I think they use the NFL trade chart. The website if www.first-pick.com if anyone wants to burn some time.

If you go by the value chart, 6th pick is worth 1600.

8 is worth 1400, 41 is worth 490, and 104 is worth 86. That's 1976. The Bills would be getting ripped big time. I'd love it, though.

Well add another potential trade partner. The jets have the 9th and 13th pick now.

I looked at it as another team with the means and the incentive to leapfrog us and take MillIiner

That's certainly a possibility, but I think the Jets are in rebuilding mode now. They will likely want to keep both of those top 13 picks IMO

So they trade a CB just to use those picks to draft another CB?

If anyone wants a free draft guide, with descriptions of the strengths, weaknesses, and summary of the top 20 or so players at each position, email [email protected] for a copy. This is my cousins guide who writes this in his spare time. He is rob rang's counterpart at CBS sports for the nfl draft. You can follow him on twitter @dpbrugler. Also, if you get one, let me know your feedback.

Nah, he tweeted it out to his followers on twitter the other day. I mean for free it is definitely worth it. He does a lot of radio interviews with other cities, but his heart is in Cle, and he's done a few on 92.3. He's also written a guide like this for the past 4 years or so. It's basically his passion.

Yeah. That's what happens when you can't afford to hold on to expensive assets.

Would people be upset if the Browns went Jarvis Jones? Probably with a trade down with Chargers?

He is the guy I originally wanted...but then all that health shit started. Has he been completely cleared?

I think everybody wanted him when the season started. But yes he checked out medically and ready to go. I was listening to ABAO and Andre Knot brought it up and he said he'd love to have Jones over anybody.

They trade a CB and get a CB with a rookie contract that will not want to renegotiate said contract every freaking year.
