No, I totally agree. The Big Ten is definitley the class of the country this year, but the ACC appears to be pretty solid as well with Duke, N.C. State, Maryland, Virginia and possibly Virginia Tech. Florida State and Miami are also teams that could make some real noise if they start getting their acts together. The Canes made that first step last night, thoroughly handling the Michigan State Fighting Izzos. The rest of the ACC is not worth mentioning this year.
I just wish that there was some way in place of deciding a real "winner" of the Challenge in the event of a draw. Perhaps by something as simple as the conference with the largest average margin of victory or something. A tie is the single most stupid thing in all of sports. The end of the 49ers-Chargers game a couple of weeks back was a pure disgrace. Competition is about winning and losing. What they fuck did they even play the game for?
