Thats a HUGE line for UNC/IU. I guess the fact that it will be so uptempo means a big deficit could mean a closer game than the score. But still, Vegas going out on a limb with a double digit spread for a match-up like this.

Izzo seems to me to be still searching for his line-ups/rotations. This is a typical MSU team. They will be tough when B1G season rolls around and be a REALLY dangerous 3/5 (depending on what they do in B1G play) seed imo

Reggie Johnson would be matched up with Derrick Nix whos every bit as big and strong as him and also Payne whos length would almost certainly cause a problem for him. But Its just your opinion so it cant be wrong I suppose.
Yeah, you'll probably end up being right. Michigan State is the rational pick. Guess I just went with the upset. Miami does have the players to win against MSU, though. Last year, as Duke was making a furious mid-season run as winners of eight of nine and standing at 19-3 overall, Miami stormed into Cameron Indoor and won in OT with pretty much the same crew of players. This is a good team that has struggled to find its way early. Eventually, the talent will win out behind the solid coaching of Final Four coach Jim Larranaga.

Miami actually does have talent. As I said previously, Durand Scott did not play in the loss to Florida GC. Had he played, the Canes never lose that game. That's still no excuse to lose to Florida GC, but believe it or not, the Sea Turtles (or whatever their name is) are actually a decent team that is coached well. While they ended up losing big at Duke, they held a 30 to 28 advantage over the Devils in Cameron Indoor with about six minutes to play in the first half before the Blue Devils started burying everything they threw up to go into half time with a big lead. But Gulf Coast is not a god-awful team by any stretch.

^^Yeah, if you read through the "experts'" picks, even though only two of the six took Miami, pretty much all of them made note of the fact that Miami has plenty of talent and that the game could easily be a coin flip situation in terms of who prevails.

Michigan does look really good. John Beilein has a Final Four team on his hands. I won't say national championship contender just yet, because they appear to still be a John Beilein team. Live by the sword and die by it. The sword in this instance being 21 feet long. At least from what I have seen. Granted, this is the first real look I've had at the Wolverines and I am a Duke fan haha. But there are some really good slashers on the team too who can get to the basket.

Nik Stauskas is a kid with some flair and a hot hand. Good player.

Looks like 2-1 in the early evening session for the B1G.

Florida State is woeful to watch offensively. The last few years, they were ugly, but tolerable because they had some nice talent.

This year, I'm not sold. I think they are behind Miami, Maryland, Clemson and possibly Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, aside from the top 3 in the ACC.

A bad shooting night is what will still get Michigan, but not as bad as years past. In fact, it's what I like about their game against Pitt. They were pretty cold, but found other ways to win. They actually have some inside game now, and have enough shooters than someone is bound to be hot.
