The ogt is a joke and will be a joke that's hurt alot of kid's even after it's gone.
What's wrong with the OGT?

Laugh if you want but there are some kid's who are just poor test taker's or may be absolutely brilliant in math and science but weak in social studies. Any standardized test to determine graduation is a incredibly bad idea imo and i am glad to see the state shift away from it.

You are right..but you take the test your sophomore year. I think if you fail a section it is offered twice every yer to retake it. If you cant pass a section 1/6 times, there is a problem.

I said this before they hired them and I'll say it again. RR is not a great developer of talent. The coach prior to him put twice as many players in the NFL as RR did in 9 years at WVU. Name the WVU players that RR coached up to be solid NFL'ers?

The reasoning for this is that his system does not translate into the NFL. So NFL teams are weary to touch his players. Steve Slaton is solid though.

Can any Michigan fan tell me about Adrian Witty? He was a 2009 commit to UM who never enrolled. Denard Robinson's teammate in high school they both committed on the same day. Why didn't he go to Michigan? Is he a problem?

Adrian's ACT score was flagged by Michigan admission's and because of that he was denied admission despite the efforts of the coaching staff. To get your test score flagged it means that your test score went up substantially and much more than the normal +1 or +2.

Thanks Tinkertrain. I just read that he was coming to UC next Fall and was trying to figure out why he didn't stay at Michigan. I had read that he had all his academic affairs in order but still never made it in.

Well for starters his system doesn't translate to the NFL and if it wasn't for being a punk then Pacman would have had a very good career, before Chris Henry's death he would have been very good as well. Steve Slaton is having a good career so far. Look I could care less how many guys he puts in the NFL, just because a guy doesn't have a good NFL career does that mean he wasn't a good/great college player? Troy Smith was a great college qb and hasn't done anything in the NFL.

Actually that is a bad example because Tebow hasn't even been drafted yet.

Either way who cares, its not in any college coaches job description to turn their players into All-Pro NFL guys.

So we point out that they were/would have been solid nfl players and now you decided to bitch because they were in legal trouble? Im sure that no other coach has had players like that either right? Maurice Clarett was a outstanding citizen wasn't he? Im sure it was RR's fault that those guys got into legal trouble to wasn't it?

Looks like UM might have to try to keep DT Ash, scout.com reported he is looking arounnd. This would be dissapointing imo. UM needs to bring this guy in.

Note to Rich Rod

If you are not going to play by the slimeball's rules you are going to loose out most of the time. Washington promised Parker a garunteed starting spot as a freshman and all Michigan would garuntee him was an opportunity to compete for a starting spot as a freshman.

Also for a kid who say's he wants to major in business he sure as hell made a poor choice for college. Michigan business school blows Washington out of the water.

I really hope we sign Dorsey, but I don't think that happens at all.

Damn you Florida State

Beaver feels fairly confident about Dorsey BUT we are recruiting in South Florida and playing by south florida rules. Apparently Dorsey has told players from each of the three schools ( USC, Mich, FSU) that he will be going their but something to keep in mind is that Denard Robinson is his cousin so he would be lying to his cousin.

Fingers crossed because Dorsey is arguably the top free safety in the country.
