It is ideal for any team but most of them guys that are quick with great hands are very undersized which will cause some teams to stay away from them most of the time. Most teams will take a rb/wr with good size with less speed than the small quick wr/rbs

4* S/LB Josh Furman (MD)-UM Va Tech
3* DT Johnathan Hankins(MI)-Not 100% but have heard it will either be UM or O$U

Anyone hear anything on where these guys might go?

Johnathan Hankins is deciding between Michigan, OSU and Florida.. but there are talks of him extending his recruitment into January, in order to visit Alabama. His parents are high on Michigan, that's the only visit they have went on with him. I think it's VERY close between OSU and Michigan, with Florida a distant 3rd. My prediction- Ohio State

Tony Jefferson is supposed to announce on Friday at 9pm, I HIGHLY doubt he goes to Michigan.. but you never know. Reports say he is still struggling with his decision, which bodes well for Michigan. USC and OU have been ontop of him longer, and had he declared a long time ago Michigan would have zero chance. My prediction- USC

Josh Furman was supposed to play in the Crab Bowl this weekend, but will not do so due to injury. Virginia Tech was the favorite early, but Michigan basically swept the kid off his feet during his visit. My prediction- Michigan

3/3 with the kids would be HUGE, but IMO that is unrealistic. If anything, I think Furman and Hankins come before Furman and Jefferson.
Well it's Friday after 9...any word on Jefferson?

It was posted on the insider board on michigan's scout page. I'd post the thread link but doing that could cost me my subscription.

Furman will be announcing on Sunday I believe, and there is no solid time table on Hankins, although I hear is is "ready to get this over with"

UPDATE: The Crab Bowl has been postponed due to the snow. Furman's father says he wants to announce at the game, so they hope it is rescheduled soon.. probably Monday night.

Hey guys..

The Crab Bowl was delayed until tonight, and Furman WILL be announcing soon. He was very bummed about not being able to play, but he is excited to commit tonight. Word is he will commit in the 4th quarter, and right now there is just a few minutes left in the 1st half. VERY high chance that he is a Wolverine, I'll keep you updated.

Four-star safety Sean Parker has announced that he has narrowed his list to 3 schools, those being Michigan, Cal, and USC. He will announce on signing day. This would be a great pickup for Michigan.

Any chance Furman will see time at RB, or is he strictly a safety?

Still not sure.. RB is pretty solid as far as depth is concerned, he may end up in the "Spinner" position that Stevie Brown played this year... Although thinking of him and Marvin Robinson playing LB together is fun

That would be amazing speed at LB. I really like this pick up I think he could be a pretty good player for UM

Furman is an athletic freak..

6-foot-2, 192 pounds, 4.39 40 yd dash, 42 inch vertical, 4.12 in the shuttle and a broad jump of 9 ft 8 inches.

Rivals confirmed that Furman will be playing the "Spinner" position, which is the LB/S hybrid spot. With his speed and burst off the edge, that is VERY promising. I can't wait to see him lining up with Marvin Robinson and Justin Turner.
