Probably because if you get a bit buzzed/drunk with beer and then switch to the hard stuff you drink MORe of the hard stuff and it hits ya like a ton of bricks.

I was bit when I was 6 by a poodle. I have hated them ever since to the point where I am a little scared of them. I can walk up to any dog with no fear but let a 10lb poodle come at me. I will turn into a little girl trying to hide.
