You really would turn down 2 #1's, a 2/3 and another pick (the likely package) to stay at #2 and take a tackle?Commander of Awesome;1098932 wrote:No team would want Bradford because his salary is so high. He was the last #1 pick before the the new rookie wage scale. they're tied to him regardless, and I think he can still be a good QB, but they need to keep him upright. I think they should keep the pick and take Kalil personally.
It's an important position, but with that kind of bounty you can draft a tackle later in the 1st round and get a whole lot of other pieces to help rebuild a franchise that also is in desperate need of talent.

You're likely right. After thinking more about it Griffin & Luck's Pro Day's aren't even until late March so it would be pretty dumb of a GM to make this trade PRIOR to their Pro Day's.like_that;1098853 wrote:Snyder is an idiot, but I don't think he is that dumb. He and other teams will most likely wait until FA to at least bring the value down.

No but I doubt any team will give that up. For example if I were the Rams, I would think a franchise LT is more important than the #4 and #22 draft pick. They need to protect their $50 million QB.IggyPride00;1098945 wrote:You really would turn down 2 #1's, a 2/3 and another pick (the likely package) to stay at #2 and take a tackle?

Did anyone catch the numbers that Dontari Poe put up at the combine?
Poe is 6'3.5" and 346 lbs.
Bench 225 - 44 reps
40 - 4.98 (4.88 hand timed)
Vertical - 29.4"
Short shuttle - 4.56 sec.

They still get their franchise LT at 4. If I'm the Browns I offer 4 and 37 and next years 1. Or 4 and 22 and next years 2nd.
That's a max offer. They can't get kalil at the redskins pick

I think the vikings would take kalil and I'm not a huge believer in the kid from Iowa.

I think, with this performance, he won't be there at their pick. Probably be gone around 10-15.BR1986FB;1099041 wrote:Yeah, have a feeling he may be Casey Hampton's replacement.

I hope the browns get better with this years draft and get barkley next year. If not rg3 will be the goat for years. I may that because it sounds like its gonna take 2 yrs worth of picks to get him.
