That is the Talent i was talking about.. This team up and down has talent. And going back to 8th and 9th grade football the system is true to the Varsity.. No way we should not have a good season.. Wigfall is a great receiver. He helped in the big win against Girard last year. He has nice hands and speed. O'dea is gonna rock.. I like that kid. He has Heart and strength to go along with a talent and very athletic background. Shaquan McWilson Sean Burnett David Horvath Adrian Brown Charles Smith Shamar Robbins Desean Johnson what is not to like about that combo?? That is a stellar line right there. Probably the best since days gone by. Its not very often you get that size and skill in one year.. I agree about the lines are gonna be fine. I'm not the least bit worried about the line on both sides of the ball. Desean Johnson or one of the one of Ja'les's brothers to run the ball this season. But then again one of his brothers might not even be in the line up first game. Its all up to him. Now Mykey if that's how its spelled i heard is like his older brother. More disciplined and grounded. then there is a transfer as dean said from liberty. Brandon Jackson that i have only heard from word of mouth is a speed demon. and posses great vision and moves. But that is all word of mouth and im not taking that as a fact. Reyes cant say enough about this kid. He can run through and just makes the passes when he needs to. You have to understand his receiver didn't do him any favors last year. Drop after drop. Wigfall was wonderful as a receiver. he and Reyes should make some nice combinations. And the receivers coming up im not even sure about. but if we can get at least one along with wigfall to catch the balls we should be just fine. I can see this team just as talented as last years minus the issues. If that's the case we could be a major player in AAC again.. But as mention time and time again Rb is the ?!!! Good luck Campbell this season.. And as far as the cats ill stick with the 3 systems hampering the cats. Its a different atmosphere it seems every year for the cats. But then we wont know till game one for both teams. Campbell has not lost a game one in a few so good luck to the cats.

gonna say this again, brandon jackson and his brother came up through the campbell school system, left for about a yr or so, now they are back. i've been told that comparing brandon to ja'les when they played at the lower levels, brandon was more talented. i would be very surprised if he isnt the starting TB come august.

I knew the Jackson's are from Campbell and left.. But i never seen them play. My family has in the lower leveal. But i hear all the same things as you.. Speed moves and could be a close second place to Patton. We will see. I also thought that we would have seen a lot of Shandale Ray last year. But we didn't. Bledsoe is a beast at WR.. he was just a terrific receiver. I hope he kicks azz at YSU...

Other than the few standouts... Reyes, Wigfall, Smith, McWilson, Horvath... who has actually started, or seen significant playing time? I think Brown, Burnett, and Kelly can be added in there, but for the most part they'll have a lot of inexperience.

Also... expecting Sikora and Zetts to come out of their shells with the coaching and playcalling is lunacy. Zetts has been coaching for 30 years. Sikora has been coaching for 20+ years. That's 50+ years of coaching between them. They're basically set in their ways. They're not just gonna up and change everything all of a sudden.

That's not a shot at them either, they're not bad coaches by any means. I'm just saying that it's pretty unrealistic to expect them to change now... especially when they've had a lot of success doing what they've been doing.

Hey i cant agree with you more.. About Coaching.. I dont see it changing.

As far as inexperience. that does not worry me. This coaching staff took this team other then last game of the season and with some real loose lug nuts on this wheel and kept it on the car sorta speak. The last game was just pitiful performance. not taking anything away from the cats they have the hard hat. but if the team showed up like they did with Girard this would have been a different story. I scratched my head with the play calling. Campbell the year before had a identity. It was the running game. last years identity was all over the place. we could have thrown and ran but we did one and not the other in a game. Girards game was brilliant. Make them think we would ran Ja'les on every down. and even put Ja'les under center for a few series.. I was going Crazy with that but it was just to soften up the defense and see what they was up to on defense. then it turned into the Reyes show. he threw the ball all over the place. A beautiful display of passing. best i ever seen by a Campbell QB.. But i dont worry cause the lower system is just as talented and the ones before. Trust me on that. there is no shortage of super states in Campbell. Its up tot the coaches to produce the talent.

I'm saying we should see sparks as of last year was. But you got to to be able to get to the Qb on almost every down. i think this line is as talented as its been in years. But will it turn into a defense we want or just a defense that gets enough stops to keep us in a game? I posted the Classic 1986 Playoffs with Youngstown Mooney,... I would have never thought Chaney would be a school that we will never get to play or hear about on the highlight reals on Friday nights. Sad to be honest. With the OHSAA adopting the proposal to go from 6 to 7 divisions, it looks like Campbell will be dropping down to D6 after the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. By comparison, Champion, Girard, LaBrae, Lakeview, Liberty, and Newton Falls, all look like they'll be dropping down to D5. Lakeview and Liberty may stay in D4 by the skin of their teeth, but the other 4 schools are basically locks to drop to D5. Jefferson Area could stay in D3, or they could drop to D4. Their enrollment numbers from the 2009-2010 school year would put them in D3, but their enrollment numbers from 2011-2012 would put them in D4. JA's current number is 284 and the cutoff for D4 is 287. They're right on the bubble there.

I have a feeling that this has something to do with the parochial schools also. Probably am wrong. But why is there another division anyways. By all counts Div 7 would be very small schools. I scratch my head at the Ohsaa.. Im having a hard time with them for my sons senior year... He was held back in Kindergarten by his mom after we got separated. And he would be to old to play High School football even though there will be kids his age playing. He is to old by 12 days. Go Figure. Its not his fault. He still got 3 years of High School. A situation similar to what you're going through happened a few years ago, with J.J. Johnson at Salem.

The reason for the addition of the 7th division, is not to make D7 smaller, but to make D1 consist of the largest 10% of schools. The current cutoff for D1 is 494, with the largest school at 1,164... beginning in 2013, the cutoff for D1 jumps up to 600. It really doesn't have anything to do with the Parochials... at least none around here. In fact, Mooney and Ursuline would possibly drop down a division to D4 and D6, respectively. Mooney might stay in D3, but Ursuline will in all likelyhood drop to D6.
