Now I hope my favorite Fighter Pettis can get it done and avoid the ring rust. Melendez is a great fighter as well and another guy I love to watch.

Todd Duffee is a freak, hell of a card so far, really delivered.

Great performance by Pettis, Gil won the first round and had the right gameplan but got a little reckless with his strikes, Pettis capitalized when he stunned him.

I agree with the decision, another great fight. Robbie took 1,4 and 5 imo. Felt like Hendricks gassed a bit and tried to stall and it hurt him.

Good for CM Punk for going after his dream, but man I can't see this ending well. I'm sure he will work hard and prepare but I can't see him beating anyone in the MW division which is loaded. Not even sure who they will match him up with.

CM Punk seems very realistic and level headed about this whole thing, good for him.

To me he got signed because of who he is, but he doesn't expect any special treatment because of who he is either, which i respect. I'll definitely watch when he's on.

Missed all the fights on Saturday, but watched a few yesterday online. I haven't seen Lawler/Hendricks yet.

Pettis/Melendez went about like I expected. Interesting to see where Gilbert goes from here. He is so scrappy and tough, but not dominant at anything. He will be in close fights vs. most guys regardless of how they are ranked, and he could easily lose a few in a row if decisions don't go his way. He could also win a few too.

Schaub looked awful IMO.

Seems like Schaub has been very hesitant to pull the trigger, probably because he doesn't trust his chin. I thought Gil had the right game plan, punch into the clinch and work the body but he got a little sloppy and too aggressive. Todd Duffee impressed me for being out for 2 years, he is terrifying. The whole card was excellent really top to bottom.

Schaub just looked so sloppy. He was running in throwing off balance punches when he attacked. Agreed on Duffee, when he attacking he is super scary. Always remember when he said in his post fight interview, "I'm hungry Dana, let me eat."

I think they should do Lombard/Hendricks and Rory/Lawler next for WW. Cormier/Jones is basically a super fight, I'm super pumped for that as well.

I'm not exactly a DC fan, but I will be if he beats Jones. Jones is a great fighter but I really want to see him lose.

I recognize that Bones is a bad ass but I just don't care for him. I'm not a huge Cormier fan but I do like him more than Bones.

I'm surprised there's been zero talk on here about (1) this Ultimate Fighter season and (2) the two insane free UFC cards this weekend.
