That was sad to see but this is MMA, guys get caught. I would like to see him drop to 185 and fight guys his size actually, not ready to write him off yet at 32 years old.
I've been saying he should cut down for a while but people always said he couldn't. He always looks soft at 205, he could definitely make 185.

He could, but I don't think he will. I also don't think he could beat Weidman, Rockhold, Jacare, Belfort, Romero, etc. He is slow for LWH, and would be even slower at MW. He's not taking down guys, so I'm not sure how much the size would help him.

Who does everyone have winning this weekend? There are 3 cards I believe.

Gaetghe vs Guillard will be awesome in WSOF, Okami vs Branch could be alright. The Bellator card will be a lot of fun and the UFC card in Mexico has some meaningful fights. Would love to see the KFC King MArk Hunt win the interim belt, what a story that would be.

Gus vs. Rumble announced for FOX card on Jan. 24 in Sweden. Winner gets a title shot.

Gus has one of the best chins in MMA, and he is going to need it. Great fight.

Hendo vs Mousasi announced as the co-main for that card, sounds like it is in a 40,000 seat stadium.

Article I read said, 30K, but still a huge indoor stadium. A little skeptical this is really for a title shot though. Are they not going to give Jones a rematch if he loses?

That's without floor seating, and of course Jones will get a rematch if he loses. No question imo.

This notion of champs getting immediate rematches is ridiculous. All it does it tie up a division.

In most cases I agree, but Jon Jones is the greatest LHW of all time, he deserves it if anyone.

There's only three ways I want an immediate rematch.

1) a referee decieson plays into the outcome ie. Early stoppage, taking points away

2) judges get it wrong; if most people believe someone won but judges go the other way in a split

3) if you have defended your belt a few times (let's says 5 times) and you lose a close decieson or a flash ko (like Silva) I think you deserve a chance to redeem yourself right away.

I think if you get KTFO you definitely don't deserve one. Close/Split decision then I agree. The rematches just log jam the divisions, especially if someone gets hurt during training for the rematch.

Hunt winning the fight and walks right into a knee he didn't see. Looked like he was recovering but Herb Dean stopped the fight.

Bellator has gone full WWE, Coker you are better than that, there are good fighters on that roster.

Yeah, I would have much rather heard the results of the free Bellator card. 45 bucks down the drain now. Ha, I may have to turn my phone off on fight nights.

That's funny coming from the girl who was pissed when Pettis didn't pick her to be on his team with some of those same coaches. She also probably lost or is competing against a Pettis fighter.
