I don't think Cyborg is a given to win. Could she avoid being judo thrown to death?

I don't think she is a given win either, I think she is the only girl in WMMA that has a legit chance to beat Rousey however.

Sorry, real simple. If you are born with a hot dog, you fight other people who were born with a hot dog. If you are born with a bun you fight other people who were born with a bun.

Sorry, I had penis and vagina in there and then thought it would be funnier with the hot dog reference. In retrospect it wasn't funny.

Well lets see here:

Last fight he made 15K to show and 15K to win. He has been in the UFC 7 years and has had 19 fights in the UFC, which is in the top 15, maybe top 10. How can you justify paying a top 5 LW in the world that little? I'm sure he gets some bonuses because he is really exciting but that base pay is an embarassment to him, Dana and the sport as a whole. A lot of this may fall on his manager Mike Kogan though, who seemed to f the deal up pretty bad. Someone of Nate's caliber should be making a guaranteed 150-200K just to show imo.

Good card so far but it needs a really good main event and co-main.

I guarantee he's well paid, otherwise he'd fight more. You have to take those pays with a grain of salt. Also - like you said, he signed the deal, it's his own fault.

TRT has been banned in Nevada, they will be pushing other states to do the same, looks like it may be gone from the sport.

Yeah, this might be the first UFC event in Ohio that I do not attend in person...sad, but I will watch for free on my TV.

1. He signed the deal.
2. He is making much more than $15k per fight, those are only reported numbers not bonuses, not sponsorships, etc.
3. Anthony Pettis, the champion at 155, makes $27k to show, and $27k to win. So your point is proven wrong right there. The best in the world at 155 is listed as making $27k to show, no way in hell Diaz should make $150k to show. You have to realize for the most part anyone under Welterweight is not as "marketable", as in all the big money makers are WW through HW since the bar room fan likes to see KOs and not technique/submissions. Jose Aldo is an exception because he does get the big KOs and even he is only $120k/$120k, so still less than what you think Diaz should make. Aldo is probably the best P4P fighter on the planet and you want Diaz making more than him.

Welter -31%
Middle - 30%
LHW - 36%
Heavy - 68%
