There were apparently a lot of UFC fighters in Columbus this weekend (for the Arnold Expo maybe)? Roommate got a pic with Pettis out at a bar.

Matt Brown vs Erick Silva will headline the Cincy card in May. Also JDS vs Stipe Miocic will be the UFC 173 co main event.

I like this fight as a fan but it is sort of a tough break for Brown going from Condit to Silva. That's a pretty high risk fight without a lot of reward. He will probably need two more wins after that to get a title shot. Yeah seems like more of a fight for Silva to make the jump into the top ten. Signed up for my 7 day free trail of fight pass so I can watch on Saturday. Pretty nice selection of archived fights on there. The video was good, but the audio quality seemed to come and go.
Anyone see Gus getting upset this weekend? He got hit allot in the Bones and Shogun fights but just ate every shot. I don't see him losing here either.

Fight pass quality is awesome, you can also change the audio so that you can listen to the fighters corners and what not. The library is pretty good so far but it will be complete soon which is awesome. Manuwa is very dangerous on the feet, not sure Gus will look to keep it there for long though if Manuwa has deficiencies everywhere else. I think Gus wins but it's not a gimme fight. The card in England today was excellent imo. Gunnar Nelson looked tremendous, Brad Pickett was in another war and Gus did what he had to do and finished a dangerous opponent and set himself up for another title shot. The Guillard/Johnson fight didn't live up to its potential as Melvin laid back too much and tried to counter. Johnson has gotten much better though.

I really like the card this weekend. Trolling around on the sherdog forums and I saw and idea I like - Anderson vs. Diaz for his comeback fight. If Anderson is not really interested in fighting for the title, especially if Machida is champ, this would be a fun one for the fans.
