She was down with her hand on her stomach, can't really blame Herb too much though in hindsight Sara probably would have recovered.

I don't agree with that stoppage, Herb Dean has been horrible lately imo. We need Josh Rosenthal back lol. Pretty great main card overall though.

She was on her way back up, he only gave her one second to recover and it was a body shot, had it been a knee to the head and she dropped like that like Mir did against Barnett then okay but I thought that was a really quick trigger on the stoppage. Especially when he let TJ Waldburger let him have his ass handed to him for 30 seconds earlier in the night against Mike Pyle.

Firstrow....after watching how she dropped I can't blame Herb but overall very blah about that card.

The TJ stoppage was very late. I agree on that.

But the McMann stoppage was a good one. She dropped, held her stomach and didn't defend like three shots to the head. That warrants Herb stepping in, because she was getting up after Herb stopped it doesn't make it a bad stoppage, unfortunate, but he can't reverse time. A I'd rather take a knee to the head than a hard liver shot. That shit hurts.

I def agree with the stoppage, but have you ever taken a knee to the head?

Yes, hurts a lot but so does a liver shot and a liver shot hurts for a lot longer.

Then you agree with weakness and stupidity, I understand then. Far too early of a stoppage, are the facts. She took the shots well and should have been given further time. UFC is becoming subjective crap.

Refing is hard, damned if you do, damned if you don't. Just would have liked to have seen it gone longer being a title fight and the main event. If you watch the replay he rushes in as soon she Sara drops, give her a few seconds at least to show she can recover.

Would I have liked to see it go longer? Yeah. Do I have any issue with Dean stopping the fight after she took multiple defenseless hits to the head? No.

Definitely not a card worth buying. No one on the current roster will beat Rousey and DC fought someone who should've been on the online prelims. I also couldn't care less about women's mma.

On another note...Melendez and Pettis will be coaching TUF20. Kinda shocked he got the shot over Aldo.

It really had nothing to do with savagery - it was all about how they want to be a legit sport yet it's run a bit like pro wrestling. I don't agree with everything written, but i definitely agree they'll hype anything to get you to buy it. There wasn't anything about that card that was worth $60. Did anyone thing DC would be challenged by a guy who's never fought anyone at this level, let alone anyone on prelim level?

I don't think it was hate on MMA, it was the way they promote and market.

Some of that point is valid. The UFC has always had an issue of walking line between true sport and entertainment. No way does a guy like Gerald Harris get cut for a boring fight, if the only goal is to have the best fighters. I usually think the UFC does a good job of making the best fight the best. Sure, sometimes they jump people up for title fights because it will sell, but most of the time the best guys are fighting each other.

Does anyone on here buy fights to watch Rousey? Her name on the card makes me not want to buy it because there is no one who can give her a challenge.

It's a business, just like any other sport is. Wouldn't be able to pay the fighters or grow the sport without it being all about money. As MMA fans we get a ton of MMA for free, and very high level stuff. If you don't think a card is worth $60 then it is your right to not buy it, there are plenty of other ways to watch it. The FOX deal has spread them very thin but they still manage to come up with very high level and entertaining cards. Lets not forget that UFC 170 was ravaged by injuries, the original card was much better.

Cyborg can challenge her, and beat her. Women's MMA is in it's infancy, I liken Ronda to a Royce Gracie, just ahead of her time.

Agreed. I will never truly believe Cyborg wins any fight fairly though. Even if she tests clean it will always be in my head that she has had alot of help from roids over the years. They have arguably permanently changed her body/strength.

Yeah. She's to MMA right now what UConn would be to women's college basketball right now. You'd have proponents of it using them as an example for how good the athletes and competition there can be, but to me, it's one super-team winning 95% of their games because it's rare anyone else can even challenge them. It's one thing to watch the elite fight and claw their way to the top against other elite; it's something else to watch the elite steamroll their way through overmatched competition because it's rare that anyone is actually worth their time.

All the proof you need that Cyborg has roided herself to irrelevance is her saying that getting to 135 would "threaten her life" even though before she was caught with roids, she fought a few fights at 135 no problem.

Lay off the roids, work more cardio and lay off the weights, and you will be at 135 no problem. In my opinion she is the only woman on the planet that can beat Rousey, but at the same time she might be afraid of that fight given the fact that if she loses, everyone "knows" she was only "good" due to the roids.
